BG FALLS UNDER HALLOWEEN HEX @storytellers-saloon

Life in BG (storytellers-saloon) has taken a dramatic turn. Crazygoose goes shopping for news and supplies in 'Oh Aces' town but is shot down by Croc. Sheriff 3gun vows revenge which leads to a deadly shootout. More travellers come to BG including the famous singer Ms. Treelane. Presently it is discovered that Kae has been kidnapped by a mysterious little old lady. Events take a sad turn when Lean is murdered. Fortunately, Rue and Billy arrive just in time for the funeral. Plans are made to find Lean's killer and rescue Kae.

THE NIGHT OF THE MUFFINS

Unhappy at the loss of her Transmogrifying pet Jasper and at her capture, Ruby plans her escape at the same time she vows revenge on the town. All her poison chocolate pudding spilled and out of ingredients to make more, she hexes the town's celebratory muffins.

HALLOWEEN HEX

Ruby might be able to play tricks on the mind but what she doesn't know will definitely hurt her.

Ruechari has recently returned from Destiny County. After a long strenuous struggle, she has accepted her reality. She is the Shaman of the West. Herself trapped in this reality she senses that something is not right.

It is now up to Rue to break the hex, rescuing her friends and the town. She has until the end of Halloween or they will remain trapped forever.

BACKGROUND

BG VOL I

Tired of waiting, 3Gun openly challenges anyone willing to accept to a card game. The unexpected happens with the arrival of numerous travellers. The town is brought back to life.

Cards games, drinking, limericks, dishonesty, mistrust and the discovery of illegal substances; Cocopops and Cocohol lead up to a horserace. Things are never what they seem. The horserace is but a trial run by the Croc gang to commit 'The Great Train Robbery'. Cocobars disguised as Snickers are being exported out of the County. It is up to 3gun's impromptu posse to stop the robbery and keep the town safe.

THE STORY OF BUSTED GULCH

The uniqueness of BG is that a considerable amount of the story takes place in the comments, and creates much of the sparring that goes on among the characters. Subsequent chapters use that material to aid in furthering the tale. A number of characters were created to carry the story lines and belong to each of the writers. Others are imaginary and everyone writes their parts as they wish them to behave.

We have some who live in BG, others who pass through, each contributing fodder. The themes followed contain all the elements of any good story - life and death, love and romance, crime and punishment, it's all in there in a very distinctive form. It is a long, twisting tale but for those with a sense of curiosity and adventure, you won't find anything anywhere that compares.

BG also fostered the birth of a very successful spin off called, DESTINY. A group of BG writers focused on that tale and those remaining enlisted new recruits, sometimes crossing briefly with the new story.
