one direction fan fictions are not fan fictions. they start off so innocent, like a duckling, but then they grow and soon enough they have teeth, in other words they visit porn street 101.
all they do is talk about what they want to do to eachother, cheat, sleep around, break up, get laid some more and bam you have new life. who's the daddy? question game. but yet they are so popular? I get it you psycho directioners all have a creepy side...RIGHTIO then.
Or there is a lot of "Larry is real" fanficions, and I don't want to venture there ever again. No, I'm not a directioner, but I will read a fan fiction if someone DMS me and asks. Other Han that, I prefer to stay away from one direction fan fictions.
I've realised, unless the main character and the girl they've been crushing on get laid and or pregnant no one pays attention. most of ny fanfics have death or depressive things in them, but they end after a few lines. old habits die hard. was my first ever fanfiction I wrote, I've been writing this rant book since march. some people have complimented my work, others questioned it, hence why I wrote the don't question me chapter. (Coming soon)
in a 5sos fanfiction I read one direction were in it. they invaded the whole story line. I respect the writers story line and god given talent but really? harry styles!
I'm not saying I sat here and read the whole fanfic because the moment harry was mentioned I left...but then came back to it a few months later. one direction "fanfictions" are just extremely long warped imagines.
I feel like the only thing I do is pass my opinion on one direction, but in all fairness all the world do is talk about them.
I read "after" by Anna todd and honestly, the story line was good and she portrayed things excently but it felt Like they had some kind of sex in every chapter. In real life, you wouldn't be able to have sex everyday, you're not a permanently working baby machine. Jheez. So praise to Anna for the book being published, and the film. I look forward to reading it properly.
Through reading fan fictions I just want to send out this message from me.
don't spend your time writing to please your audience, write what best fits your imagination! if you want your character to portray you then do it. were just here to read them, we have no real authority, is there a badge by our name? is there a verified writers certificate laying on your windowsill? don't ever let nasty comments knock you back. step on the comments and continue to write the way you are. if something feels uncomfortable in the chapter remove it. if your characters innocent keep her innocent. don't be intimidated by anyone's similar story line. put your own unique twist on it. I'm always going to be the person who tweets or comments how great of a writer you are, if someone disagrees with me then they take it up with the shits I don't give I'm the pleasant person I hope I come across as. peace love rubber gloves.
Jessica :D x
I felt like I needed to say that just because some fanfictions are getting repetitive. plus I know there are people that dnt believe in their ability to write an arse kicking story. Just do it, whether it's spontaneous or not. Just go for it. Believe in yourself .
does anyone want to ask me questions on ask fm? I always need new ideas for rants :D
