some crazy shiz goes down at warped tour, but I still desperately want to go. your all probably thinking, oh your too young and innocent and blah blah blah. did anyone go to warped tour this year? if you did please describe it!
someone said to me when I said I wanted to go "oh, is that like a convention where you wear vans and walk around in a field for no apparent reason?" I wanted to leap across the room and beat her with my vans.
I've always wondered what it feels like to mosh. moshing in a pit of one person must not feel the same. I had a really long rant about 5seconds of summer going, but my mum not letting me.
basically, my mum always says that 5sos aren't the most hardcore people she has ever seen (directed at Luke's skinny legs) and that they're not man enough to survive the people that go. so when 5sos got there and announced there beanie got stolen I couldn't help but laugh. yes, I do like 5sos but that's the stupidest thing anyone could ever do. no one understands my love for kellin Quinn or vic Fuentes. I need to meet them, just to hug them and thank them for everything. (A/N they've helped so many people without even realising it, sometimes them just smiling keeps a butterfly alive) I understand that people like pop or rap or yodelling and that's okay, just don't pass a comment on them. an opinion is fine, as long as you have a reason behind it. calling them emo freaks and wrist cutters is just disrespectful, their music has saved more lives then jay-z has said something racist.
lesson number one!
don't wear anything you value when stepping into a mosh pit.
make sure your of fair height!
if you're a short person, you'll get hurt a lot.
don't give up!
there was a girl who broke her wrist in a mosh pit, she got it bandaged up and then went straight back in. that's dedication.
watch the people around you
some people like to meet and get serious, always remember you're vans warped tour experiences ;)
if you meet the band...
if you're lucky enough to meet the band or members don't freak. get a picture, and an autograph then flaunt that sucker all over the internet.
crowd surfing.
this is actually where my rant starts. I don't like crowd surfing, you're touching people in the most uncomfortable way by laying across them just to get to the front, if you wanted better seats you could have just swapped your tickets in or gotten better tickets? I have a friend who has met all time low (7 times) and she said the crowd were mental. there was a 14 year old girl trying to crowd surf over everyone and when she got up to my friend she dropped her, on the floor and too right to. not so great for my friend though because the crowd surfer gave her evils and started screaming all through the rest of the concert. what's worse was they were both jack girls. so whenever one screamed for jack the other screamed over her. world war 3 starts at an all time low concert, and Alex wasn't the cause behind it.
right now I'm trying to convince my mum to take to either of mice and men or kings of Leon. I don't understand why it's uncool to like
kings of Leon because they're talented, they don't suck and they play their own instruments. *indirect to one direction* in return of my mum taking me to *fingers crossed* both I have secretly bought her a ticket to go see Shane filan, for her birthday. I don't understand why she doesn't like concerts. as a child my mum went to everyrhing you could think of, now adays she's moany and protective. "don't listen to that band too loud" is what she tends to say.
my mum as a kid went to
take that
meatloaf
bon jovi
Robbie Williams
Adam ant
boyzone
gladiators world tour (she met wolf)
and WWE.
she was there when bret hart won.
if that concert plan fails I can always ask her if I can go to the WWE tour...
