You walk in the halls, laughing and happy
But you never see me, even when I'm right next to you
I tried to talk with you, but it was a mistake because you were snappy
I saw the regret in your eyes, but that doesn't matter because you never even had a clue
You see me in the halls now, and your eyes grow sad every time
I try so hard to not be seen, and man that's a climb
This isn't the way I wanted to be seen
Now you try to act like I'm a queen
We talk, but you still don't know
My heart in need of a good sew
I've fallen in love with someone doesn't notice me
Even though he sees me, acts like I'm his key
Maybe I should move on, but I can't seem to
My heart hasn't moved on, but I know it's time I grew
I did, now things are better
I hide beneath my sweater
I lied though because my heart flutters every time I see you in the halls
You don't notice me, but that's because I stick to the walls
Your arm slung around another girl, and I shatter
You came closer to me, and I knew it was time to scatter
You were taken by someone, but that flutter doesn't leave
I never wear my heart on my sleeve
It still beats for you, and my stomach has butterflies every time we talk
And through the hallways you walk
You see me and I see you
My smile grew
You always plague my every dream
And I laugh with knowledge of finally being seen
