Here one day, gone the next
Not even I could read the text
Slipping and sliding, it's all downhill
Your body now lays cold and still
Pale blue lips, and shut eyes
People visiting and many goodbyes
There's crying and sobbing, all for you
Yet you watch from above, sat by the moon
Hanging on by one last thread
All your pleas have already been read
Gone once more, you slipped away
Knowing that we will meet another day
Found by your mother, your fate was sealed
The damage you caused could not be healed
You slipped away, right under our noses
All the comes now are wilted roses
A wooden box, a body inside
That's your body they're trying to hide
The necklace 'hope heals' is strung around your throat
How silly of me to think of that quote
Tired eyes shut one last time
That day came, your end was nigh
That was it, goodbye
