Peace

She closed her eyes and smiled as her hands reached out towards the sky

All around her the forest sang and in the distance, a hawk's cry

A comforting peace wrapped around her soul, no other emotions to be felt

As she laid on the grass, all her worry began to melt

A soft sigh escaped her cherry red lips as she released a yelp of relief

The wind danced around her relaxed body like she was a leaf

True peace is felt only when allowed

Her spirit floated happily like a cloud

Nothing ever felt as good as when all negative feelings wash away

On the soft and damp grass, her petite fingers splay

Out here, nothing could touch her

Out here, time always went by in a blur
