A smile breaks out on my face as my phone lights up
I get so excited, I nearly drop my cup
My heart pounds and a giggle forms
I read what you say and a response storms
Hours, days, weeks, months can pass by
But nothing changes, our conversations never dry
Feelings grow and my nervousness steeps
Taking a jump as my heart leaps
A question asked and a question replied
I was so happy, I might have cried
Because now you're my girlfriend and I couldn't be happier
You always light up my world when days go crappier
You're my everything, my world, my queen and more
With you by my side, my heart seems to soar
My treasure, my heart, and everything between
Now that you're my girlfriend, the world seems more green
