One Day

I go to sleep thinking of you

Sometimes it turns me blue

I want you in my arms while we sleep 

But instead, I'm alone, counting bleak sheep

I trust you, just as you trust me

But sometimes my thoughts won't leave me be

I feel jealous, the feeling ugly and green

I promise I'm not trying to be mean

I'm not jealous of you, but those around

Because they get to walk on the same ground

I am miles away from you, my heart

But soon there will be a home to start

I love you, now and forever

I know we will be together

Maybe not now, but in the future

We are loyal to each other, it is our nature

I cannot wait till the day we meet

I'll be sure to make it sweet
