How to die.

      I ask one simple question, "How?" This is the one thing that I've been searching for since my first thought of suicide. Now i'm so close to finally achieving what I've desired for so long, longer than i can even remember.

   She laughs a light laugh that's almost like a whisper in the night. Her eyes meet mine before she speaks. " It's not as easy as you'd like to believe. - she pauses to sigh, then continues- there's many things you have to go through in order to accomplish death." her bright eyes burn into to mine, like there are challenging me to ask the question that will get me killed. She seems to want me to take on whatever it takes to die, and i want that too.  

 So i ask her again, "How?" he eyes brighten when i ask her, when i take the challenge. I don't know what her motive is to tell me this but i don't care, as long as i can get my dying wish.

" I first must ask you if you're serious about this, it would be little unfair of me not to, and throughout long lives i'm sure we both have gotten a little to use to the unfairness of life." i nod, i'm ready for anything, i just want to get this over with as soon as possible. She waves me forward, what is said must stay between us she whispers to me. I move closer to her and stare past her into the night sky as she begins the long history of our kind.   

  " Our kind has been around for thousands of years, most of which have been some pretty bad people. When you have immortality that tends to happen. Most of the more famous villains of history are still among us today they just go by different names. For example Hitler who goes by Adam now. He's right down stairs actually." 

" Okay then, so what does that have to do with learning how to die, and stay dead?" i ask, wishing that she would get to the point. Knowing that Hitler is really in the same building as me isn't very comforting. It makes my skin crawl just thinking about it. Who knows who else could be in this building.   

  " it's just a little history you may find useful at some point. If you really want to die, then i'm sure you've tried already. I'm also completely sure that it didn't work. As  you know now, you're immortal. That's why it's impossible for you to die or to stay dead rather. You see we do die but we also heal too fast to stay dead for very long. There is one way that you can, however die and stay dead. An ancient spell can reverse the immortality that runs through your veins. No one has ever found this spell however. It was said that the family that had figured out how to reverse it was killed after they casted it on the village they lived in. This village was populated by immortals. The father who had spent his life trying to rid the earth of their evil realized one more thing.
