The caster of the spell cannot want to commit suicide. They must die with honor, that's what the original caster had wanted. To rid the earth of their evil he must die with the honor of killing the immortals in their village. His family was also willing to die for what they believed in, everyone but his oldest son who had snuck out of the village before his father could cast the spell. That son was the only one to survive the casting of the spell. He is the reason that you and me and all the rest of us are here. This is the only successful way to kill our kind."
I remained quiet for a moment, not knowing how to respond to the story i had just heard. Is all of this really true? I mean at first when i died i had thought that, that would be the end but it wasn't so this isn't the weirdest thing that I've been through. I ask the first question that comes to mind, "How do you find the spell?" If i'm being honest I believe this because i have to for my own sanity. i m hoping that she'll say it's an easy trip down the road to acquire this spell.
"The spell was lost when the creator died, it was said that the spell died with him. No one knows if this is true. Most of our kind that knows there's a spell to kill us wants it to stay hidden, or dead. So of course no one did very much digging to find out if the creator had written it down or something." she is still whispering, but is now staring out at the stars once again. I have to get this spell, i need to figure out a way to end my suffering, but what about the part that said the caster of the spell has to die an honorable, and noble death. Can i do that if my main desire in life is to cease to exist?
" You wouldn't happen to know where one should start if they wanted to find this spell, would you?" i ask quietly. In the back of my mind i know that this all could be a sick trick that she is playing just to she how i react, but i feel as if she's telling the truth. I don't know why, but i can hear it in her voice when she speaks. I can hear the pain in her voice when she was telling me the history. For reasons unknown to me, i feels as if I've connected with this dark young woman in the short time that I've known her. This scares me, i don't like to be around people. People stab you in the back and don't look back. I decide that i'll listen to the rest she has to say, but i refuse to trust anyone. I made that mistake once, and it killed me on the inside. Now it's time to finish the job my brother started. Ill no longer be dead on the inside but on the outside as well.
" The only place i can think to start would be the village where all the immortals died. That would be in Europe." Great how am i supposed to get from Chicago to Europe. Especially with him and his little friends breathing down my neck. I'm a flight risk to then, they wouldn't just let me leave. She turns to me, and says " Well, they will be wondering where we are soon. So let's head back." she rises off the window sill, begins to walk away, but stops right after she pasts me. She says, "Oh and don't start a fight, i don't want to have to clean up after you." I nod, and follow her down the stairs to the rest of the people that are down stairs.
