Chapter 5 - What a coincident right?

Cyd's P.O.V.

I opened my eyes and we were back in school two days earlier.

"Okay I was not prepared for that but did you found out which seat is next to Naldo?" Shelby asked.

"Yup I did! And Naldo almost told Madison that I could time travel because I decided to say that even though I didn't had that seat right then I'd get it" I said.

"Cyd, you weren't supposed to tell Naldo that you were jumping in time." Shelby said.

"I know sorry, but on the bright side none of that will happen on this timeline so. Now let me just get that ticket" I said and took up my phone.

"Row 4, seat 12, You're mine now!" I shouted and smiled widely as I booked the seat next to Naldo.

"Let's go back to friday afternoon now, I really want to enjoy the weekend" Shelby said.

I laughed and high fived her and suddenly we were in the Marcus family's kitchen again.

"Time travel is the best! I can use it to get revenge on a bitch who thinks she can steal my guy" I said and smiled.

"It is really good, next time I have a boy problem you'll jump back and help me fix it right?" Shelby asked.

"Of course I will, and Shelby..." I said.

"Yeah what is it Cyd?" She asked.

"You won't tell anyone about that I still like Naldo right?" I asked.

"Of course not, that's a secret that will stay between us. Besties never tell eachother's secrets" She said and smiled.

"Good, because I really trust you now" I said.

We then walked up to our room and now it was time for me to leave for the cinema. I said goodbye to Shelby and her family and walked out. As I arrived at the cinema I spotted Naldo and Madison. Naldo brought his popcorn and drink and they walked into the theatre. I walked over to the snack counter and got myself a coke and popcorn and then I walked inside the theatre too. I walked over to my seat and pretended to look surprised.

"Oh my god hi Naldo!" I said as I sat down.

"Hi Cyd! What are you doing here?" He said.

"Well I'm here to see the movie all by myself but what a coincident right? That I got the seat next to you" I said.

"Yeah that's really a coincident" He said and nodded.

Thanks for being your stupid self Naldo, you're making this way easier than I thought by not thinking about that I'm a time traveller. Naldo then started talking about how excited he was to see the movie and I agreee with him while Madison just sat there and looked jealously at me. A few minutes later the movie started and me and Naldo was really into it. 20 minutes into it, I noticed that Madison were asleep next to Naldo who hadn't noticed it.

2 hours later the movie was over and both me and Naldo were really excited.

"That was awesome!" I said.

"I know right and there must come another one since the end didn't make any sense! What did you think Madison?" Naldo said and looked over at her only to realize she was asleep.

"She fell asleep after 20 minutes, just like Shelby did" I said.

"Madison wake up" he said and nudged her shoulder.

"Huh what is it?" She said all confused.

"Why did you fell asleep? Didn't you liked the movie?" Naldo asked her.

"No I love these movies, I was just really tired today. I promise" Madison said.

"Yeah really, I think the reason you said you wanted to go was because you wanted to impress Naldo, but let's face it you know nothing about the movie and you hate it like most other girls on this planet" I said and smirked.

Madison became really embarrassed and just ran out from the theatre.

"I can't believe she just pretended to like the movie... I mean I'd not have cared if she didn't liked it because I'd still like her" Naldo said sadly.

"It's okay Naldo... Just call her tomorrow and tell her that..." I said and smiled. I knew I probably shouldn't encourage him to talk to her because it might lead to them getting together but he's my friend and I don't like when he's sad. He's the ray of sunshine in our gang and he always makes everyone happy.

"Thanks Cyd, I guess I will... you're a great friend. So uhm... do you want to go somewhere and talk about the movie? Like maybe to Starbucks?" He said.

"Sure I'd like that" I said and smiled.

We then walked out from the cinema and walked to the closest Starbucks.
