Chapter 15 - Mrs Montoya

Cyd's P.O.V.

I looked down at the little girl and she smiled widely. I couldn't help but smile back and then I kneeled down and hugged her tightly.

"Hi cutie" I said and smiled.

After the hug I took of my shoes and the little girl took my hand. I followed her into the kitchen were another toddler who seemed to be in the same age as the girl sat on the floor but this time it was a boy. He had the same green eyes as the girl and looked like a mini Naldo.

"Mommy!" He said and his eyes lit up as he saw me.

"Hey sweetie, how was work?" I heard a familiar voice say behind me and felt a kiss being planted on my forehead.

I turned around to see a grown up Naldo who still wore a hat and a printed shirt. I smile spread on my lips. I'm actually married to Naldo. I want to stay in the future forever!

"Hi, it was good" I smiled.

The two toddlers was now sitting on the floor abit away and playing. I looked at Naldo who was cooking. Maybe I should tell him, that I'm teenage Cyd.

"Uhm, Naldo..." I said.

"Yeah what is it?" He said and looked at me.

"I'm from..." I started.

"The past? I figured that" He interrupted and chuckled.

"Yeah but how? I mean no offense but you're really stupid. Like you didn't even get that you were hat boy which is like the most obvious clue ever" I said confused.

"Well I've gotten smarter with the years." He said. "So what are you doing here in the future?" He added.

"Well back in the present I had almost given up because you never realized how I felt about you so me and Shelby travelled here to find out if I were meant to be with you or not" I said.

"Oh okay. I'm sorry if it made you frustrated. I guess 16 year old me got abit unsure what love even was after everything with Madison." He said.

"So uhm... tell me about our future life" I said excitedly.

"Well we are married and have the twins. Their names are Maya and Renaldo and they are 3 years old at the moment. And Shelby and Barry lives next door to us" Naldo said and smiled.

"Awwh, we really named him by the nickname Barry gave you?" I said and smiled.

"Yep! And you thought I was weird for wanting it at first but then you agreed because you said he made you think of me" Naldo said.

"Well he really is a copy of you! Oh god I wish I could stay here forever. So how and when did you realized you liked me back?" I said.

"I can't tell you that, it would ruin it" He said and smirked.

"Come on please tell me" I begged.

"Sorry Cyd but on the bright side you know it will happen some day now so you don't have to worry anymore and instead relax and just wait for it" He said and smiled.

It was then dinner and we all sat down to eat. The rest of the evening was lovely. Maya gave me a bracelet that she had made in preschool and I immidiately put it on. After we had put the kids to bed me and future Naldo watched some TV and cuddled in the couch. I enjoyed it loads and I wish I could just stay forever. That night I fell asleep next to him and it made me really happy. The next morning we ate breakfast together and then Naldo left to leave the kids at preschool and then go to work. I texted Shelby to meet me outside and ten minutes later we both stood infront of our houses and squealed.

"I'm so happy that me and Barry got married and we have the three cutest kids ever!" Shelby said and smiled widely.

"I'm so surprised that I ended up with Naldo but so happy at the same time! Gosh I love our twins so much. It's so adorable because we named the boy Renaldo which is Barry's nickname for Naldo! I'm kinda sad he didn't wanted to tell me when or how we got together though" I said and smiled widely back.

"Awww that's so cute! Anyways now you know you will end up with him so maybe we can go back now?" Shelby said.

"Do we have to? I like it here" I said.

"I do too but we'll get here someday in the future. But now you have something to look forward too" Shelby said.

"True, let's go back" I said and high fived her.

We were then back in the Marcus' backyard and it was the exact time that we left. All of a sudden Barry and Naldo came out from the garage.

"Cyd are you okay?" Naldo asked worriedly.

"Yeah I'm great now!" I said and smiled.

"Thank goodness" Naldo said.

"Oh Barry! Guess what, me and Cyd went to the future and you and me were married and had three super cute kids" Shelby said and smiled.

"Really? That sounds great" Barry said and smiled.

"So how was your future Cyd? Did you got out from the friendzone or?" Naldo said.

"My future was awesome and I did! Although he didn't wanted to tell me how or when... oh well atleast I know that it will happen now" I said and smiled.

"I'm really happy for you" Naldo said and smiled.

"Thanks Naldo" I said and smiled back.

We then said bye to the boys and walked inside the Marcus house as it was almost dinner time. That night I fell asleep with the biggest smile and dreamt of the future, Naldo and the twins.
