Chapter 17 - I'm Crazy Into You

Naldo's P.O.V.

It was now friday which meant that we were going to see Austin Moon perform. Cyd had been talking about the concert the whole day in school and were so excited. I looked forward to it too but mostly because I'd get to hang with Cyd. Last time I was on a concert with her we had a blast! It was the Adele concert that Shelby couldn't go to because she got sick. I was now on my way to the mall to meet the others. I took a short cut to get to the main entrence of the mall which goes through an alley and all of a sudden as I walk there a car stops behind me. I turn around and watches a blonde guy who's just a few years older than me walking out an I immidiately recognizes him. That's Austin Moon. If Cyd were here she'd be so happy. She and Shelby has tried to make up a plan the whole day on how they are going to meet him but it hasn't gone that well. I slowly walks over to the car and Austin.

"Hi excuse me, aren't you Austin Moon?" I asked.

"Oh yeah I am. What's up? He turned around and said.

"I'm Naldo and I'm actually on the way to the concert to meet my friends. You rock man" I said and smiled.

"Nice to meet you and thanks, I hope you'll have a good time" he said and smiled.

"I will for sure, going to concerts with Cyd is the best!" I said.

"Who's Cyd? Is she your girlfriend?" He asked.

"Oh no... we're only friends although she's the most amazing girl I've ever met and she's got the prettiest smile and the most beautiful brown eyes" I said.

"Sounds like you really like her man" He said.

"Wait what?" I asked confusedly.

"It sounds like you have feelings for that girl dude. What you just said reminded me about when I started to realize that my girlfriend Ally wasn't just a friend to me..." He said.

"Oh... I've never really thought about it... Would you like to meet her after the concert? I mean she'd be really happy to meet you because she loves you and if she's happy then I'm happy" I said.

"You know what, let's do that. I like to meet my fans and you could impress her by getting her to meet me. I'd love to help. I'll get someone to go and get you two after the concert and show you to were I'll be" He said and smiled.

"Okay thanks Austin" I said and smiled back.

"I have to go and get ready but I'll see you after the concert" He said and walked into the building through a small secret door that was on this side of the building.

I watched him disappear and walked to the main entrence. I couldn't wait to see Cyd's face when she gets to meet Austin. She's going to be so happy. As I walked towards the stage inside of the mall I couldn't help but think about what Austin had said. Cyd and I are just friends. I don't have feelings for her right? And besides even if I did she likes someone else, who's kind of an idiot for not seeing how awesome she is and friendzone her. I spotted her, Barry and Shelby a bit away and walked over.

"Hey guys!" I said and smiled.

"Hi Naldo" They all said and smiled back.

We all then walked to were the scene was and ended up in the front row. After a while Austin came on and everyone cheered. He started to sing and me, Cyd and Shelby danced and sang along while Barry just stood there. I could see on him that he didn't liked all the pushing and he held Shelby's hand tightly to not loose her. He was really brave for facing his fear just for Shelby though. Me and Cyd had such a great time and now it was almost the end of the concert.

"It's been an amazing night Portland, this last song is for all of you. This is called upside down!" Austin said.

"Omg I love this song! It's like my favourite song of his!" Cyd said and looked me excitedly.

I smiled at her and he started to singing. I couldn't help but look at Cyd. She glanced at me as well as she sang along to the lyrics. As I listened to the lyrics of the song I heard Austin's words from before playing inside of my head about that I like her. I never really thought about it in that way, I guess mostly because Cyd would probably never like someone as stupid as me back. I thought about all our memories together and what I like about her. She has the prettiest smile and the most beautiful eyes. She's the coolest and most awesome girl I've ever met and she's not like the others. She's special and whenever I'm sad she always knows how to cheer me up. We always has so much fun together and we have the same weird humor. We've got so many memories together like when we won the boat and I got crazy so she had to switch the boat for a hat. Or when I tried to help her find her thing. I looked at the short brown haired girl next to me and suddenly it was crystal clear. I love Cyd Ripley, more than I'd ever expect.
