i woke up to an empty bed dawn was nowhere to be found the room i found her note and i couldn't belive she left last night and she took all her clothes and she was gone and she didn't want  me to find her  but why would she want to just leave me she has everything she could ever want here in our house she could have anything that she wanted at any time if she asked for it the world would be at her fingertips in a second  she could have anything she wanted and she left where did she even go? i just don't get it what would she do without me. where would she go? there's a farm just beyond the forest she could have gone there but it's owned by another pack i doubt that she went there but if she did i don't know what would happen then she could be dead for all i know or she might be captured and hurt i have to go look for her it has already been one whole morning so far since she left and i can't stop thinking about her . i decided to go look for her and i walked outside and followed her scent she didn't hide it i followed her scent through the woods and came to the farm it was two or three miles away from our house so she didn't go far so i had nothing to worry about but i could smell someone elses scent and it was a man i know because i saw him walk into the barn i heard dawn's voice as she asked for a towel and a bottle of milk . what is it for she doesn't have kids does she ? no no no she can't have kids , not with him at least . i walked into the barn and there was a calf , you know a baby cow /calf . she was wiping away the nasty stuff . it was just born . i took in her scent when i watched her clean the calf. she smiled. "you followed my scent didn't you ?" she said it so coldly "yes i did . i had to i couldn't just let you suffer if you were -" "well im not suffering so go away i made you suffer so here i am. i'm fine and i'm sure you're fine without me to so go home ." she just demanded me to go away i wont loose to her that easily."i'm not going home without you !" i yelled at her . "yes you are !" the other guy walked in "is he bothering you miss" he said "i'm fine " he handed her the supplies she asked for and she fed the animal she waved him away and he left the barn and went back into the house . when she was done feeding the calf she stood up so i walked over to her and i picked her up and held her tight i wouldn't let her go even if she asked me to or wanted down "let me go!" she shouted  i held her tighter and she started to struggle and kick to get away "i'm not leaving without you we are going home and that's final you can come back if you ask but he can't be here " i ordered her around i was being her boss and i didn't care i was mad . i carried her home and took her to our room and set her on the bed she went to get up and i pushed her back down hard  and she stayed i was getting angry " why did you leave ? there was no reason for you to go ! tell me why did you leave ?" i was yelling at her and i didn't notice but i grabbed her arm and i grabbed it tight . she whimpered and i grabbed her tighter ." answer me !" i yelled at her " i - i wanted to go h- home . "  she stuttered as she spoke ."your home is here with me ! i don't want you to leave my sight you will not go over there without me do you understand me?" i just kept yelling she didnt answer me and she stood up and  pushed my hand off of her arm and she just stood there and stared at me " answer me ! do you understand me ?" she just stood there.

***********************************dawn's pov *********************************************** he was yelling at me and i didn't say anything as i starred at him he yelled "answer me !do you understand me ?" he raised his hand and slapped me hard "  and i just stood there . his eyes were black and he just wasn't himself anymore . i shifted so i could protect myself and he shifted too . he lunged at me trying to bite me and i dogged his attack and then he scratched my face and i bit his neck hard  and he howled in pain i kicked him as i bit him with my hind legs i didn't stop until  he stopped struggling , i got off of him and he shifted back and stood up he grabbed a muzzle off the hook in the closet as i fell over trying to catch my breath . he was covered in scratch marks that i gave him they were already healing and he came over and put the muzzle on me . his eyes were still black and he also atached a chain onto the muzzle and he dragged me by the head down the long flight of stairs and i whined a little he took me down the basement stairs to the detencion chamber and he chained me to the wall by the muzzle , he also chained my paws and legs to the floor . i was too weak to shift back so i just layed there . he left the chamber and he left me there for a week or longer without food or any thing . i was hungry he finaly came back  his eyes were the same he hadn't changed one bit . he grabbed a whip from the wall , the whip has long sharp spines along it if he hit me with it my flesh would easily rip open . he pulled the whip up and hit me with it on my back  i was crouched over and i was whimpering every time he hit me  he threw the whip at me and he came close to me and picked up my small wolf face  and slapped me hard . he picked me up and the chain and muzzle choked me  he un chained the muzzle and threw me to the ground he grabbed a collar and put it on me it was pulled tight  around my neck and fastened the muzzle was attached to the collar it was fastened tight as well pulling up my face giving me a headache he put a leash on the collar and unchained my small defined legs and stood me up my stance was wobbly and i was shaky  he grabbed  long stick like tool . the tool is for hitting me with it if i do something he doesn't like .he'll hit me with it  and it wont break the skin but it will hurt and bruise my skin . my wound were healing quicker than usual and he yanked the leash pulling on my face more . he hit me with the stick on the leg telling me to move he dragged me up the stairs and outside to his car he had waiting we got into the car he slipped me into the cage he had waiting for me  i sat in the cage . and he smiled at me , it was an evil grin and then he yanked the leash. my head slammed into the cage and he laughed when we reached our destination he opened the cage we were at wolf show international . there were several other wolves around me they were people just like me  but only they were sold into doing this . this isn't a good thing while i was looking around he yanked on the leash i didn't follow and he hit me in the back with the stick and chuckled and yanked me along with him i saw the ring i would be fighting in it was small and there are cages along the side full of wolves it was like a dog fighting ring  but with wolves "that's a stron looking girl you have there " a man chuckled at alex "yeah she is pretty strong but i doubt she'll win if she doesn't i'll have to teach her a lesson " he hit me with the stick and laughed t me as he locked me into the cage he removed my muzzle and collar and he walked away a couple of minutes passed and the side into the ring opned it was my turn the second match is this one i can do anything to protect myself and i cant shift back so i'm weak but i can fight here i go .              * i walk into the ring and there is a male wolf in the ring he is alot bigger than me so it is an unfair fight he ran up to me and jumped on my back i slammed him off of me and he swiped at my face i lunged at him biting his ear and started dragging him my teeth ripped right through his ear and blood splatered on the ground he didn't make a sound instead he came at me and bit my neck hard bitting the front of my neck and he pushed me down into the ground. with my back pressed against the ground i scratched his face and tried to push him away i started kicking him just like i did alex , i took my hind legs and kicked him in the face he lost his grip on my neck and i pounced on hom and bit his back in the mddle and dragged him down with my paws i pushed on him and bit his neck just like he did to me but on the scruff of his neck and the round ended an i went back to the cage and rested they gave me a bone like a dog and there was a ribbon on the cage door . a small teen came over and opened the door and came in ."sorry for bothering you ma'm " he took a wet rag to my wounds and wiped away all the blood the scratches and bites were healed in a short time . he put his hand in his pocket and pulled a treat out and he held out his hand and i ate the treat he left after that. and two more rounds went on and then the door to the ring opened for me . i had to beat the guy in second place except for it was asher  in the ring . he snarled at me and he lungged at me i scratched his face and he jumped on me and ferocously bit me all over and i bit him back and clawed him and he fell off of me i kicked him an then scratched at him. i tackled him and he shifted back which means i won the fight. i returned to my cage. alex walks over with the collar and muzzle and places them on me the other owners and fighters eyed me cautiously as he put the leash on me he grabbed my awards and bones for winning two fights there were four plus the final round two of wich i was in and two people come out on top and battle in the bonus round and then they get awarded and have to come back to rematch in a week or two .alex put me in the car his eyes werent black any more-"im sorry" he said softly cutting off my thoughts and i looked away from him i was hurting inside and out. he had hurt me for leaving i starved for a week and then fought two dangerous wolves that wanted to kill me . he grasped my face and removed the muzzle and collar and petted the area where they were. i still wasnt strong enough to shift back sso i sat there and looked out the window . we got home to the house and he picked up my limp body and carried me upstairs to a bed room and layed me in the bed he called the doctor and the doctor put the medicine she had on all of my wounds and left and so did alex . i just layed there for at least an hour and didn't fall asleep it wasn't the warm bed that i slept in when i was here and it wasn't cozy the room was cold . i got up and walked down the hall to alex's room and climbed into the bed and under the covers his scent filled my nose . he smells like apple pie .as i layed there i started to fall asleep and alex walked in talking to himself ."i shouldn't have gotten mad at her . i hurt her again . she'll never forgive me ." as he plopped down on the bed and layed right ontop of me . "oh what's this?" he grabbed my foot and then un covered it " oh dawn it's you" he said still holding my paw" he smiled at me when he uncovered my head " are you cold ?" he asked in a whisper . i nodded my head and he came and layed next tome and i curled up on his chest and fell asleep . the next morning i woke up as myself i had shifted  in my sleep i was under alex's arm and i slipped out of his grasp and walked to the restroom and looked in the mirror i have a scar across my right eye and a bruise on my arm from alex " he did this . it's still here " i forgot that he did that . but why is it still here ?"  i whispered my thoughts out loud and i heard alex move around in the bed " dawn !"  he was calling me and i poked my head out of the bathroom door and looked at him " what are you doing in there come back to bed " he was demanding i come back to bed . i climbed back in the bed and layed my head by his and we looked at each other " you have a scar on your face who did that ?"  " you did alex " i lowered my head hiding my face " i'm sorry please don't hide your face " he moved my face and made me look at him . i grabbed his hand and removed it from my face and he kissed me .
