I waited outside of the room for hours and sulddenly the door opens and the pack doctor came and hurredly came to my side . " A-alpha , you're not going to like this but there were complications with the birth of your child." he said dissapointedly. " I see , and my mate ?" I asked concerned about Dawns well being . " she may be verry ill for a long while , we can give her medications to try and ease the pain but there is no cure to what luna has at this current moment . we have found that your mate is of lyndacan decent and it is illegal for her to have children and your child may have carried on the trait......I'm so sorry Alpha ." the doctor stated . Lyndacans are wolves born with a name , as Dawn has her name rattled on her neck so may my child. They are stronger wolves that have many problems during birth because they usually kill their mother when inside the womb , it is Compleatly un- intentional . they are large , and the mother's body can't always handle a child . the lyndacans were the founding wolves ,straight decent of the moon people . yes , along the moon goddess herself . it was said that they didn't have mates , they aren't allowed to mate because the children are merciless and violent. They were the protectors before the new council arose and killed them off . they were said to also be born with their wolves , they are connected since birth . they shift at a younger age and it is rare to be born as a wolf . As I walked into the room my mate was in wolf form laying on the hospital bed , a muzzle tied around her long snout . I place my hand on her face and stroke along the muzzle . she growls almost angrily towards me and I stop touching her . " why is this on her face ?" I asked cautiously looking at the doctor. " she wouldn't allow us to help her without , she needed to shift in order to give birth to the child . it was the only way possible " the doctor said turning to me with an object in his arms. The object was wrapped in a small white blanket. He soon handed me the object . moving the blanket slightly ,i reveal a small pup , instead of a baby . figures because Dawn had birthed it as a wolf . " gender ?" I ask. " Female ...." the doctor replys and walks out of the room. Dawn lays on the bed growling at me as if i,would harm the pup. I lay the small pup securely on the bed and shift into my large wolf . I pull the pup closer with my mouth . the pups small nose twitches and sniffs me. small yelps and whimpers come from the blanket wrapped pup. She continues to sniff my nose and opens her eyes. Her eyes are a pure whiteish blue ,like a huskys . unlike her mother and I Her eye color was completely unnatural. Dawn growled and pulled at the muzzle trying to free herself to attack me from her pup . I easily growled at my mate and she settled. ' what shall we name you little one ' I said through a link trying to speak to her. ' i-it is d-drift , ' her wolf said quietly and shyly. The voice of her wolf was young and,childish,seeing as she was just born.

'What is my child's name you must know As you are her wolf.' I asked the small pup. ' it is SOMALIS, Alpha air.' she said shyly . ' please , you don't need to call me alpha .I'm her Father ,she's my baby girl. ' I said licking the pups head between the ears. The pup yipped and nipped my nose ,she pawed at my nose gently and continues to make small noises .Chase walked into the room and stood looking at the small somalis wrapped in the blanket .Dawn whimpered and Chase removed the muzzle from her nose. She came over and pulled the pup from my grasp and showed Chase his new baby sister , he reached out and petted her small head and kissed her small puppy nose.
