alex's pov ~

i awoke the next morning to loud pants and whimpers. they were almost cry's. "dawn???" i eagerly said as my mate wasn't in bed with me. i rushed out of bed and realised she was in the bathroom. "dawn honey are you okay???" i asked very concerned. "i - it hurts all over ..." i heard her whimper out . " i can help you just let me in okay?" i was confused in the moment. she opened the door. the smell of her scent filled my nose and there she was sitting on the floor curled into a ball. "dawn ???" i questioned at her to see if she'd respond . " y - yes ?" she said softly ." you're in your heat . " i replied softly. i found it odd she didn't have her heat shortly after being marked, i should have the doctor check her before i do anything. "i'm going to move you to the bed okay. " i said calmly." o-okay ." she replied back. as i picked her up she relaxed at my touch. i lay her on the bed and she starts panting and loudly ,and whimpering again. "why were you hiding in the bathroom?" i ask softly ." i didn't want to w-wake y-you " she replied. i kiss her forehead." a - alex ?" " yes dawn ?" "c -can y-you stay w-with m-" she couldn't finish her sentence. " yes  dawn,I'll stay with you. " I replied softly and kissed her cheek. She smiled and whimpered . i started to massage her back. i knew she wasn't ready for any of this. " a-alex?" she stuttered."yes?" i reply.  she slowly closes her eyes after i reply to her ." Dawn?!?!" i yell as she loses consciousness. i call the doctor through a mind link, and he is over almost immediately.shortly after arriving, the doctor looks her over." this is uncommon for a female wolf to faint during her heat but,she should be just fine. we will keep her here so you can take care of her  as an alpha ,or mate should, and  keep her company." after saying that,the doctor left. dawn was out for several hours before she started whimpering,and panting again. "dawn???" i whispered softly into her ear. she growls as i remove my hand from hers. i place my large hand on her back when she starts to whimper again. i start to massage her back with long caring strokes.she seems to like her back massaged so i continue rubbing her back until she pulls me ontop of her. she curls up under me and lays there whimpering.i run my fingers through her hair and she calms down slightly before falling asleep.
