Dawn was nowhere to be found untill I got a link from the pack doctor .' Alpha you need to come see this ' He linked hurredly . I rushed over to the pack hospital to find my mate and a medium sized round stomach . she was surely carrying my child." she's pregnant ?" I asked ,Dawn looked ashamed and somewhat scared to look at me .I placed my hand on her stomach and lightly smile." yes alpha she is indeed carrying your child but there is something wrong ,her cancer is effecting the child ....this child may not live ,or you will experience a troubled birth resulting in the death of your mate and child .possibly the child could be born early , or late and could not be born at all .I'm sorry to say that your mate carrying a child is a difficult task and will cause much pain and suffering .out of the pain and suffering most likely only one Will live ." he said looking up from his clip board .I held my hand to Dawns stomach. " I made a mistake ,I'm sorry " Dawn said looking at the ground in disbelief. Her eyes held sadness and defeat ." you didn't make a mistake , Dawn ..,,this is our child and I will love it and you with all my heart . I'm not going to give up on you ,i know you can do it no matter what happens I'm here for you . even if something goes wrong I'll be by your side holding your hand every step of the way .hun, we've been through so much already that I don't think that there is nothing you can't handle. " I said kissing her head ,and holding her close my hand never leaving the mirical known as our child. " Do you really mean that ?" she asked with a bit of hope in her words . " yes ,every word " I say holding her even closer to me . she started to cry lightly as she burried her face into my chest .

Later that night I woke up to a panting sweaty Dawn !,! he was whimpering and crying in her sleep. I took her and enveloped my mate in my arms,whispering sweet nothing's in her ear . she called and started to sleep peacefully again. When morning came I brought her breakfast in bed, she ate silently and got ready for the day . people had stared at her when she left the room , and whispered about her large stomach .

As the weeks went by I had less sleep more and more as my mate would cry and whimper in her sleep , she had many guests during the day . All of which I would send away so she could get her rest . I sometimes would find myself falling asleep against the wall due to the lack of rest . I was on my toes for most of everyday so that I could be at her side when she needed me .suddenly the door to our bedroom opened and Dawn walked out and pulled me into the room . She hugged me lightly and pushed me into the bed ,throwing the covers on top of me . I went to protest but she shushed me and moments later I had fallen asleep. I had gotten many hours of sleep and when I woke Dawn was sleeping in the chair in the corner holding her large stomach,i could see the baby moving to get comfortable and Dawn whimpered lightly. I rushed to her side and messages her stomach gently.I knew that we couldn't put her on any meds for the pain because we didn't want to harm the baby ,i could only try and ease the pain with my touch.

Weeks more had passed and still Dawn slept for most of them. When she was awake she looked worn and tired as if she hadn't slept at all she was hardly eating as much as she should and I would usually have to force her to finish her plate. I decided to surprise her by having a shower ,seeing as the baby should be born in another week or so .I pulled my mate out of bed and started the shower ,i climbed in with her and held her close to my body . I felt a stronger sensation of tingles than I normally do and bathed my mate then myself.

As we arrived downstairs for the surprise shower ,many of the packs women had brought food and items for the baby , even though we don't know the gender of our child . we had planned to wait till birth to know. After the party started Dawn opened gifts for our child and suddenly started panting ....I had soon realised her water broke . many of the women came and conferred her as I linked the pack doctor.

The doctor came fastly and took Dawn to the pack hospital, many hours had passed with me holding her hand and the doctors telling her to push ,eventually I was removed from the room and could still hear my mates screams untill it suddenly went silent .
