Chapter 11 Jealousy?

Hey! Here's a really (probably) long update for ya! Hope you guys enjoy! :D

Dawn's POV

"Excuse me, Dawn. You're up." said one of the people back stage. I nodded at them and put my pokeballs into their ball capsule and applied the seals. I closed my eyes then looked back up at the screen to see the end of another coordinator's performance.

No need to worry, Dawn. You got this!

I made my way towards the contest stage and the curtain rose up to reveal a ton of people cheering at the other two coordinators. I smiled as I ran out onto the stage and called out my two Pokemon.

"Togekiss, Buneary, spotlight!" I shouted as the two Pokemon made a beautiful entrance.

Ash's POV

"It's Dawn!" I shouted. Drew looked over at me then back at Dawn and we watched as she started to perform with Togekiss and Buneary. The Pokemon were both in perfect sync with Dawn and it was amazing to see how far she's gotten with her Pokemon. I smiled as she soon ended her performance.

The crowd went wild and so did I. I got up from my seat and started cheering loud hoping she'd hear me. "Dawn! You're still amazing as ever!! You're gonna win the grand festival for sure!!" She looked up at me with a surprised look and I smiled at her. She smiled back at me as she began to walk off the contest stage.

I watched as she walked off the stage and got up from my seat and started to make my way towards the contest hall.

"Where you going?!" Drew shouted at me.

"I'm gonna see, Dawn! I'm gonna apologize once and for all this time!" I said running off towards the contest hall.

With Dawn

Ash is.. here!? W-why is he here!? He's supposed to be in Kalos training for the Kalos league!! Oh no..

"Did Drew ask him to come here..?" I asked myself.

"Actually, I came here on my own will." My eyes widened as I looked behind me to see Ash smiling. He began walking up to me and I backed away as soon as he got close.

"You're.. You're supposed to be in Kalos.. Training for the Kalos league.." I told him.

He shook his head, "the Kalos league can wait. I came here to cheer you on in the grand festival." I blushed a bit and looked away so he wouldn't see.

"You didn't have to you know--" I was cut off by Ash pulling me into a hug. He laid his head on my shoulder and started shaking a bit. Was he.. crying?

"Ash..?"

"I'm sorry for yelling at you like that Dawn.. I didn't mean to make you cry.. I'm so.. sorry." He said crying more into my shoulder.

I was taken aback. I've never seen Ash cry like this before. I smiled as I felt a few tears stream down my face and hugged him back. "No need to worry." I pulled away from him and looked at his face. He began to calm down and wipe his tears away.

"I'm gonna win this grand festival for you and afterwards, it'll be my turn to cheer you on at the Kalos league." I said.

His eyes widened at me with joy, "really? You're gonna cheer me on at the Kalos league." I gave him a thumbs up. "You bet! So you better cheer loud for me!"

He chuckled, "definitely." I smiled at him.

"Here are coordinators who will be moving on to the next round!" Both me and Ash looked up at the screen. I hoped I even made it to the second round.. Coordinators began to appear on the screen one by one until it came towards the final result.

I was in panic because I was worried I didn't make it. I looked away from the screen and shut my eyes tight.

Just then I heard Ash cheering. "Dawn, you made it to the second round!" My eyes widened and I looked up at the screen to see me up there.

"I did it.. I made it to second round.." I said.

"These coordinators will be continuing on towards the second round tomorrow. Thank you for watching and for those who didn't make it, we hope to see you next time!" Vivian announced.

"Great job, Dawn." Ash smiled.

I looked over at him and smiled, "thanks, Ash. Just you wait, I'm gonna win the grand festival for sure!" I said raising my hand up high with confidence.

"That's what I like to hear." I looked behind me to see Drew walking towards Ash and I. He went up to me and gave a me a hug. I smiled as I hugged him back and thanked him for everything.

Ash's POV

I watched as Dawn and Drew hugged each other and how Dawn smiled at him. I clenched my fists a bit and felt something fire up inside me.

"Pika pi?" I snapped out of it and looked over at Pikachu then back at Drew and Dawn.

I don't get it.. What is this feeling..? I've never felt like this before..
