Chapter 21: Eyes on the prize, Ketchum!

Okay guys, so this will be a long chapter to make up for the last one. Promise! Enjoy :D

By the way, if you all know who is Sawyer, then I kind of made him OOC in this one just to move my story along. :3

Ash's POV

"Hurry guys! The plane to Lumiose City is leaving soon!" I shouted while running with Dawn and Bonnie towards the plane. Clemont was slowly running behind us and running out of breath. "Hurry up, big brother! You're so slow!" Bonnie shouted.

We all woke up late and realized we were gonna miss our flight to Lumiose City. We all had rushed to get ready and ran towards the docks to catch the plane before it leaves.

We finally made it towards the plane and were greeted by the pilot. We told him that we were still waiting for one person which was Clemont, who was still trying to catch up. I sighed as I ran up to him, grabbed his hand, and helped him run towards the plane.

"Urgh.. If you had run any slower, we would have left you here!" Bonnie said angrily. Dawn and I laughed at the two as Clemont apologized to Bonnie. We all gave the pilot our tickets and made our way onto the plane. Dawn and I sat together while Clemont and Bonnie sat in the seats in front of us.

The plane took off and we were on our way to Lumiose City. Dawn looked outside the plane window and admired the lovely view as well as the Pokemon. I smiled at her as I intertwined my hand with hers. She looked at me and smiled then looked back out the window.

The trip to Lumiose City wasn't that long, we'd probably get there in 3 hours or less. Dawn was now laying on my shoulder taking a nap. Clemont and Bonnie were both watching something on TV. I decided to think about what Pokemon I'd be using for the Kalos League. Should I go with Charizard? Or Noctowl? Maybe I could use Buizel or Infernape.

Just then, I felt Dawn move and saw that she was starting to wake up from her nap.

"Morning." I smiled.

"Are we almost in Lumiose City?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Not yet. Maybe in about 2 hours." I said.

She nodded her head then leaned against my shoulder again. Instead of sleeping, she decided that she'd talk to me. "So did you decide what kind of Pokemon you're gonna be using in the Kalos League?" She asked me. I shook my head at her, "not yet. I'm thinking of using some of my Sinnoh and Johto Pokemon but I'm not sure yet." She smiled at me. "No need to worry. I'm sure whatever Pokemon you use, you'll come out strong for sure." I smiled as I gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Our plane had finally arrived in Lumiose City. We got down and were greeted by Clemont and Bonnie's father.

"Hey! It's Daddy!" Bonnie said running up to her father excitedly and jumping into his arms. Clemont ran up to him as well and greeted him with a smile. Dawn and I followed behind them, holding hands.

"Hey, Ash! How have you been?" He asked me.

"Great, Meyer. I'm here to enter the Kalos League." I told him.
