Hey guys! So like, I would've updated but I was really tired from school. Anyways, hope you enjoy this chapter. :)

Ash's POV

Clemont told me that the Kalos league would be held in Lumiose City. But since Serena and I just got back from Hoenn, we decided we'd rest up a bit so we wouldn't feel jet lagged. I decided I'd follow Clemont's advice and tell Serena that I don't see her as anything more than just a friend.

As soon as she walked out of her room, she walked up to me and gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Morning, Ash." She smiled.

"Um, Serena, can we talk?" I asked her.

She looked at Clemont and Bonnie then back at me. She had a confused look on her face as she waited for me to tell her. "Sure, Ash."

We both walked out of the Pokemon Center and sat on the porch together. She looked at me worriedly as if she knew what I was about to tell her.

"Listen.. Serena I.. I don't see you as anything more than just a good friend. So I think it's best that we-"

"No."

My eyes widened and I looked up at her. I could see a few tears streaming down her face and noticed her fists were clenched. She then looked up at me angrily as she wiped away her tears.

"This is.. This is all Dawn's fault! If she didn't come to Kalos in the first place then you wouldn't be telling me this right now!" She shouted.

"Don't blame this all on Dawn! She has nothing to do with it!" I shouted back.

"Then why are you breaking up with me!?"

"I don't see you as anything more than just a friend! Can't you see that? You're just a friend to me, nothing more." I told her.

"and because you love Dawn too, right!?"

"YEAH OF COURSE I DO. I ALWAYS HAVE." My eyes widened as I covered my mouth. Serena looked at me in shock, her face turning pale. I didn't know what to say to her after that. I stood there silent, just staring at her.

"Serena--"

She stopped me, "I'm going to battle her. You hear? If I win, you're staying and traveling with me no matter what." She said walking into the Pokemon center. I sighed and looked down at the ground. What am I gonna do?"

Dawn's POV

"Good luck, Dawn." May said as her and Drew both embraced me into a hug. I smiled at the both of them and thanked them for everything. I felt a tear stream down my face and was about to wipe it until Drew did it for me.

He shook his head and smiled at me, "You don't need to cry. We'll see each other again soon." I smiled at him for that. "Cheer May on for me, kay Drew?" He nodded his head at me and embraced me into one final hug.

"Take care out there. Whenever you need me, I'm just a call away." Drew told me. I smiled at him as I began to make my way onto the seaplane.

I sat on the window side and looked down at May and Drew who were both waving goodbye. I waved back at them as the seaplane began to take off and Slateport City began disappearing behind the clouds.

With Ash

We were on a train heading to Couriway Town and we would be getting on a plane that would take us to Lumiose City. Serena was sitting next to me and laying on my shoulder while Clemont and Bonnie sat across from us. They looked at me sympathetically as I looked down at the ground and sighed. Serena was trying everything to keep us together but I didn't want to even be together anymore.
