If you guys thought that the last chapter was the end of the story. It wasn't haha. I haven't updated this yet due to the fact that I've been busy, hope you all enjoy this chapter tho!
Ash's POV
After saying goodbye to Serena we all headed back towards the Pokemon center and were greeted by Nurse Joy. We asked her to print out 4 tickets for Lumiose City and she gladly did. We thanked her as she handed us the tickets and made our way towards our room. Bonnie had knocked out on the bed and Clemont gently tucked her so as not to wake her.
I looked over at Dawn who was sitting at the edge of the bed and staring at the ground. She looked like she was thinking hard about something, I went up to her and laid a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me and I smiled, "let's go for a walk." She nodded at me as me and her made our way outside of the Pokemon center.
We began walking around Couriway Town taking in the beautiful sights. The street lights made everything really breathtaking. I looked over at Dawn who was also admiring the beautiful view.
I noticed two benches that looked out towards the beautiful ocean. "Hey, Dawn. Let's go sit over there." I said pointing towards the benches. She nodded at me and we began making our way towards the two benches. We both sat down on the benches and looked out towards the ocean admiring its beauty.
I looked over at Dawn who had her eyes closed enjoying the cool breeze. I smiled at her and started blushing realizing how beautiful she looked right now. I wanted to tell her that but I couldn't, I didn't know how to put it into words. She then opened her eyes and looked over at me, making eye contact. We both blushed and looked away from each other.
We both were silent, nothing could be heard but the gentle breeze that blew through the trees. I looked back towards the ocean then at Dawn whose head was still turned away from me. I could hear Drew in my head telling me to confess to her right here, right now.
I looked out towards the ocean again and smiled. "You know... I really have to thank Drew." She turned her head a bit, "for what?" I smiled at her. "If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have realized my feelings for someone really dear to me."
She was confused, she stayed silent waiting for what I had to say.
"This person... She can really cheer me up. She makes my heart race whenever I'm with her, I get sad whenever I think of someone else trying to take her away from me, she just.. really gets me, you know?" I smiled.
"You must really like her, Ash." She said.
"Like her? No, I really love her." I smiled.
I moved close to her, my face inches away from hers. "Wanna know who she is?" I asked her. She nodded her head at me, a blush planted on her face. Instead of saying anything else, I leaned in a kissed her. She was taken aback at first but soon gave in to the kiss. We pulled away from each other and I smiled at her.
"It's you." I said.
She smiled at me, a few tears streaming down her face. She leaned her head against my shoulder and I put my arms around her.
"I love you too, Ash."
I smiled as I pulled her in closer and looked out towards the ocean again smiling.
