"What room did you get?" Mikey asks me as we look at the paper on the board.

"Room 348," I said before looking over to Michael who had a look of peer shock on his face. "What Mikey? What's wrong?" I ask him still confused.

"We have the same room Ashy." He says with excitement. "We are going to be roommates." I can't help but laugh at his excitement.

"See, I told you that we were going to have a good year," I say as I walk over toward the reception desk. "Ashton Irwin, room 348," I tell the lady and she gives me my key. Mikey does the same and we both head over to the lifts.

I look over to Mikey as the elevator goes up and see that he is practically bouncing with excitement. The doors open to a long hallway filled with lots of doors. We quickly find our number and open the door. The walls are a plain white along with the two beds on each side of the room.

I walk in and set my things down on my bed as Michael does the same. "Welcome to college Mikey," I say as I start to unpack my stuff.

"See ya, Calum"Sophie calls to me as she starts to walk away. Before she gets too far I grab her arm and pull her close planting a kiss on her lips.

"See ya, Soph." I turn around and head over to the lift pressing my number as the doors close.

I am sitting on my bed after fishing unpacking my stuff when my roommate walks in. He eyes me and walks over extending his hand slightly toward me. "Hey. My name's Calum."

"Luke," I reply shortly. He walks over to his bed and starts to unpack his things.

"Are you going to unpack?" He asks me as he looks over his shoulder wearily.

"Oh, I am done."

"Wow." He says with a look of surprise. "I didn't know I was that late."

"Oh, no. More like I was early. I was one of the first people off the train." I tell him with a soft chuckle. I get up and walk toward the door. "I'm going to go check out the campus," I tell him as I open the door. "I will be back later though." With that, I close the door and turn around. I look down at my feet as I walk and don't notice the body in front of me until I crash him to him.

"Oh my god. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you, I just wasn't looking where I was going. I am so sorry." I say embarrassed and flush a deep red that almost matches the flannel I am wearing. I look up and see it the guy from the train.

"It is fine." He says with a laugh. "I do that all the time on my own so I'm kinda used to it." I smile at him and a blush floods my pale face again. "I'm Ashton." He tells me as I shyly tuck my hands into my pockets.

"Luke," I reply and my face is taken over by a blush yet again. What is up with me any blushing right now. "I have to go," I tell him quietly not wanting to leave.

"Yes. Of course. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to keep you." He tells me stepping aside to let me pass. I walk down the hallway toward the lifts little ways before looking back at Ashton and waving goodbye. I step into the lift and the door shuts blocking my view of the boy named Ashton.

I go back to my dorm and find Michael standing there staring at me. "What?" I ask him as I close the door behind me.

"I have never seen you talk to somebody so much except me. Especially with a complete stranger. Something is up with you Ash?" He says as though I just told him I have found a cure for cancer.

"Whatever you say, Mikey," I tell him with a small chuckle.

"You like him don't' you?" He accuses me.

"What? Oh my god. No, Mikey, I don't like him." I say now becoming annoyed.

"Whatever you say Ashy. Whatever you say." He says as he goes and sits on his bed.
