CHAPTER 13 - The Beginning of the End

THIRD PERSON

"Ah, Archie, it's been a quite a long time," Lysandre greeted as the two team leaders shook hands. It was late into the night where civilians would be sound asleep. The moon was shining brightly, the stars twinkling vibrantly. Archie and his men, known as Team Aqua, met with Lysandre and Team Flare outside of their base. Behind the whole of Team Aqua were three large trucks; one for transportation and two for transferring large objects.

"Yes, Lysandre, it has been a while. It's nice seeing you again," Archie said as he stepped aside, allowing two figures to step up. "Allow me to introduce my admins. Here, we have Matt."

The tall man that was Matt was fairly built and had large biceps with toned muscles. His skin was unusually tan and he had no shirt, revealing the Team Aqua symbol. He bowed in respect for Lysandre.

"And this is Shelly," Archie pointed to the woman standing beside Matt. Shelly's body was very thin and had hair that reached to her thighs. She wore a chest tunic which left her stomach open, and long pants. She also bowed as her greeting. "It is an honour to meet you, sir."

"These two are the most competent members of our team," Archie stated to which Lysandre slightly grinned.

"Ah, glad to meet you both. I guess I should introduce my admins too. Come forward, Dante, Trish," Lysandre ordered. A bald man came forth and placed one hand across his chest, bowing before the leader of Team Aqua. He wore a white suit with an orange undershirt, orange gloves and orange shades with white rims. The other admin mimicked Dante's actions; Trish wore the same blazer and same glasses as Dante, a white skirt and orange leggings. She also had orange, shoulder length hair.

"It's an honour to be in your presence," they both said in unison as footsteps of someone with boots approached the group. "Don't forget about me, boss."

"Ah, yes, sorry. This is Malva, the executive of my team, and she is undercover as an Elite Four member," the orange-haired man introduced.

"So, you're the one that Lysandre has been talking about; the one from Hoenn. I hope we'll work well together," Malva spoke, offering a hand of respect to Archie, which he firmly took.

"Anyways, are we ready to start our plan yet?" Archie asked Lysandre. "I really want to reclaim my goal without that Ketchum brat in the way." This made the Team Flare leader chuckle slightly.

"Don't worry, Archie. We'll start the beginning of the end and you can get your revenge.

The morning after Ash's and Serena's supposed date finally came as they were eating breakfast as a whole group. Fletchlings were resting on the open window sill of the room, chirping about. The television was on, in the background with the news channel on. The shining sun rays shone directly on the T.V. set which made it glare; almost impossible to see anything on it. But, that didn't matter much as the group were happy socialising with each other.

"So, Ash. How was the date?" Gary asked with a sly smirk on his face.

"Yeah, Serena. How was the date?" Bonnie questioned Serena, also with a sly smirk on her face. At this point, Clemont would usually protest against his sister to keep their privacy, but he hadn't done so because even he, was interest in how the date went.

"Well, um, uh..." Serena stumbled from embarrassment.

"C'mon, Ash, tell us." Brock jabbed Ash in the elbow, moving his eyebrows up and down while smiling.

"Alright, if you guys want to know so badly, it was great, right Serena?" She didn't respond but rather have two nods in quick succession.
