CHAPTER 15 - Infiltration
THIRD PERSON
"We're almost there!" Clemont shouted. The remaining group, consisting of Alder, Blaziken Mask, Bonnie, Brock, Clemont and Cynthia were still running at a steady pace; slower than before, because of lowered stamina. Surprisingly enough, the moment of Clemont dropping dead to the ground that Bonnie had been waiting for was still yet to come. Blaziken Mask was just as surprised by the Lumiose gym leader's determination and endurance; something that he had never seen before. The thought of reclaiming his Prism Tower had completely overtaken Clemont's mind. He sometimes lost balance while running, because of this thought, which made him go absentminded at times. Nevertheless, he always kept himself focused on the main goal.
The group made their final stretches to Prism Tower, since they weren't quite there yet. But, as they got closer and closer, approximately a dozen figures could be seen, standing in front of Prism Tower's main entrance. The group finally slowed down and gave their legs time to re energise and recover. The Lumiose landmark was rather tall and looked quite modern and high-tech. From the top, the tower curved inwards, then back outwards, until it reached the ground, forming the ground and first few floors. On the anterior, there were several, large glass panes from top to bottom. The whole tower emitted a blinding shine from the powerful lights inside the tower.
"They've got the base completely covered," Brock whispered, "What do we do now? How do we get to the back?" Clemont surveyed the vicinity for a little bit as the rest all watched him guide his eyes around. The inventor finally spoke up. "I found it. On the left flank, there are less guards and I think we can slip through." Clemont pointed to the area he was referring to. They all turned their heads towards his finger's direction and found out he was right. From their view, the right side of the tower had a larger number of guards in reddish-orange suits than the left side. Plus, the guards on the right had their Pokemon out, whereas there were only two guards without their Pokemon on the left.
"You're right. I know a way to get past those guys. Spiritomb, come out." Cynthia took a PokeBall from her black coat and released it. The Forbidden Pokemon quietly cried upon its summoning. "Okay, Spiritomb, I need you to sneak over there and use Hypnosis on them. Try not to make any sound," Cynthia whispered. The Pokemon nodded and floated through the alleyway on the group's left. They all patiently waited and squinted to get a better view. Soon enough, the floating Spiritomb appeared from above the two grunts, before it shot sound waves at them, quiet enough so the others couldn't detect anything. The two henchmen dropped like flies as Cynthia's Pokemon gave the all clear sign. They quickly got on their feet and started running through the direction that Spiritomb had just went.
Instead of going through the side entrances, Clemont signalled for the group to follow him. He led them to behind the tower, where there was a small hatch, but was large enough for Alder, being the best built and tallest one there. The tiny door had a dome dented in the centre with three smaller domes surrounding it. "Okay, just give me a second," Clemont said quietly as he tapped a button on his right backpack strap. The mechanical device on his backpack, called the 'Aipom Arm', extended and perfectly fit itself into the hatch's domes.
"Wow, you are quite the inventor, Clemont," Cynthia complimented as the device did its work. Clemont didn't reply because he was focused on unlocking the door, but he appreciated the praise mentally. The arm rapidly spun around in an unusual pattern until a certain click sound was heard, indicating the door had been opened.
"We're good. Let's go," Clemont said, opening the door, then ducking under it, which the rest followed suit.

"Champion Diantha, my apologies, but I have to land the helicopter in the forest below us, just outside of Geosenge. I cannot go any further," the pilot said from the front.
