The World I Live In

Cry

People laugh,
People cry,
It's no mystery why.
We laugh to keep from crying,
And when there's nothing to laugh about we break,
Letting open the water gates.
In our bleak world,
It's a miracle we don't dehydrate,
From crying all day.
Instead we try to laugh,
And if we can't laugh we cry.
What a beautiful thing it is,
That we even try.
