A Hardened Heart

Love and Hate,
The only difference is the hardened heart,
Stuck in-between.
Hurt by heart brakes,
That left her barely breathing.
The only reason the heart hates,
Is because life gave it scars,
That make it hard for it to remember,
Things don't have to be so hard.
So just give that hardened heart,
Time to thaw,
Then maybe, just maybe, you'll see,
She loves you after all.
