Velma // 1957
It was early December and we were in New York. I was shooting commercials for the holidays and talking to directors and play writers about putting me in a film or getting me acting classes. I would feel very sad right now because of their judgement but Ashton has helped me understand it's just to improve what is already great, and plus it's the holiday season, how could I be upset?
"How was class today, gorgeous?" Ashton asked me, as we got into the taxi going back to the hotel.
"Just as informative as usual, I feel i'm learning my lines better, and better." I say a smile appearing on my lips. His lips met mine in a sweet small kiss. Once we arrived to the entrance of the hotel, the snow had started again. It was only eight o'clock but the festive lights shone bright and people walked through the streets. It was beautiful. Our room quaint and warm, lit up with golden light from the bulbs.
"Aren't you excited for Christmas?" I asked as we prepared for dinner and going to bed.
"Well, this is the first year I get to spend it with you, so yes beyond thrilled," he said with a light laugh as I heard the shower turn on from the bathroom. I grabbed a nightgown and robe, preparing for my shower. Quietly I sneaked into the shower with him.
"Hi there?" He said raising an eyebrow.
"It saves water, and I don't want to take a shower alone," I said a small mischievous smile on my lips. After the shower, we ordered our dinner through room service and played the radio show.
"I have something planned for Christmas Eve, so remember to keep that night free," Ashton said giving me a kiss, leaving me to wonder about his plan.
