I groaned and got out of bed. I all but crawled to my room and shut the door behind me. I stood up and got changed into the outfit I had planned the night before. I put in my contacts and walked to the bathroom. Zack decided it was necessary to take forever, so I stood outside the bathroom until he got out.

I brushed my teeth and my hair and got out for the next person, a decency Zack didn't know.

When I turned a corner into Tyler's room, he was still laying on his bed. "Tyler! Get up!"

"Uhh I don't wanna.."

"You made me get up now you have to."

"I'm too tired.."

"How are you tired, we went to bed early?"

"You fell asleep way before me..."

Idiot. I grabbed him by his arm and pulled him off his bed and onto the floor. Just when I thought I won, he grabbed my legs and pulled me down with him. He hugged me around my waist and I couldn't move. "Tyler, we have to go." I tried to get away but he pulled me closer.

"No, we can just stay here all day."

"No we can't, now let go of me." I wiggled but he wouldn't release me.

"But babe, just stay here with me a little longer. Pwease?" He started talking like a baby and I gave in.

"Fine, we can lay here for five minutes, but any longer than that and we will be late." He smiled and buried his face in my hair.

"I love you so much, y/n. You are the most important person in my life. You're the lump of my life."

"I'm the lump? What do you mean lump?"

"Dangit I meant love. I'm tired."

"Well you are the lump of my life as well."

When five minutes passed, I stood up and pulled Tyler up too. "Now get ready, we have to leave soon."

"Wait, don't go."

"Tyler you have to change."

"So what? We took a shower together last night, how is this any different?"

"First of all, we were in bathing suits, second of all, it just is." I left his room and closed the door. I leaned against it, waiting for him to finish. He came out, thankfully dressed, and we went downstairs. Tyler lazily ate a bowl of cereal while I waited impatiently. When he was finally done, I dragged him out the door and towards the school.

"Babe, why are you so excited? Its seriously just orientation. We get our schedules then we just wait."

"Yes, but we get to find out how many classes we have together!" I just made that up; I didn't know why I was so excited. I just was.

He finally seemed fully awake. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were excited to see someone... am I the side chick?"

"You can't make that joke twice, and no you are not the side chick."

"Whatever you say, beautiful." He put his hand in my back pocket and I put mine in his. Because we're stereotypical like that. We walked to the high school and went inside. We grabbed our schedules and looked for Taylor and Josh.

We found them in a corner, almost eating each other's faces. Tyler deepened his voice, attempting and failing to sound like an adult, "break it up you two." Tyler didn't phase either of them and Josh just stuck out his arm and flipped us off. "So rude." We continued walking around and left them to their make out session.
