I was making Alfie try on a particularly girlie hat when he said it. He said I love you again. I mentally added that to the total of times he had said it before. The number was now 108, we had been dating for 210 days. He didn't say it that often. Of course that count only was of the times he said it out loud to me, not over text.
Everytime he said it my heart went all a flutter and my face automatically blushed. I would never get over how amazing it felt when he said those three magic words.
After we had had our little moment Alfie picked me up and spun me around. I started to protest though remembering that we were in a public store.
"Alfe stop," I shrieked with a ruckus of laughter. Then the store manager came over and told us we had to quiet down or leave the store. We left the store leaving behind the echos of our laughter.
"Where do you want to go next?" Alfie asked as we stepped out into the brisk air.
"That new ice cream shop? It looks really cute," I said already walking down towards it. The decorations just made me want to live there. Alfie smiled and followed behind me. This ice cream shop would soon become a major piece of our relationship, like Nandos had been before.
Nandos was where one of our first kisses happened. One of those first kisses that stole my heart.
