Zoe and I had been eating the pizza for a while and watching the movie. Then out of no where she chuckled a bit and I looked at her perplexedly. Nothing funny had happened in the movie and she didn't have her phone out.
"What's so funny?" I asked still at a loss of why she might have been laughing.
She then gave me a quizzical answer about how she was laughing at nothing but I wasn't really paying attention. I knew she didn't answer my question so there really was no point in listening to the entire thing. I turned my attention back to the film.
Right before it finished Zoe turned and kissed me and at first I was shocked but then I smiled into it. I would never forget that first kiss on New Years when she stole me heart. And I'm pretty sure she stole mine right back.

"I love you Zoe," I whispered in Zoe's ear later that night. She was curled up beside me in my bed and my eyes were shut, I was already falling asleep a bit.
"I love you too," Zoe whispered and I grinned, I wanted to play the game we occasionally played to help us fall asleep.
"I love you more than I love Nutella," I said softly.
"I love you more than I love makeup," Zoe murmured. We would go back and forth for ages listing how much we loved each other until one of us fell asleep. It was probably one of my favourite things to do with Zoe. It was so intimate, yet not at the same time.
I loved it and it was something we did the first night we ever slept in the same bed together. That made it special. And I loved it.
