Chapter 6

Hey you guys so I was feeling happy since Glimmer updated so... Ya I felt happy... BACK TO THE STORY!!!

Kats POV

"So how was English today?" Asked Amy as she put her tray on the table and plopped down next to me.

"Annoying, boring and overall stupid." I said not even bothering to look up as I continued reading.

"Whatever your totally in love." She said as she took away my book.

"Hey!!!! Give it back!" I said as I reached for the book.

"NO JIMMY PROTESTED!!" She shouted and we both cracked up. (Sorry directioner joke)

After we calmed down she looked at me and said, "but seriously that boy is lovestruck and he wants in." She stuffed a bit of lettuce into her mouth and started eating.

"Yeah, right! Remember this is Jamie we're talking about. He doesn't fall he plays." I said as I took a bite of my lunch.

"Maybe he'll change for you..." She squealed. "OMG that would be so romantic!"

She was also a sucker for a good romance story except unlike me she saw it everywhere and knew she was beautiful.

"Romantic doesn't happen for girls like me." I said shrugging and taking out my phone.

She stared at me for a second and then burst out into song. (We do that sometimes.) "you're insecure... Don't know what for..." She sang painfully off key.

"Stop you know I hate it when you sing off key!" I said covering my ears.

"Your mean!" She said and pouted.

"No I just have sensitive ears and a picky taste in sound." I said matter of factly.

"So your only deaf when you wanna be. I KNEW IT!!!" She said.

I rolled my eyes and replied "this conversation is over." And went back to my book.

"Oh no you don't, Missy!" She said and grabbed on to my book.

We fought over the book for a few seconds then I lost my grip and the book went flying out of her hands and behind her. The book then just happen to hit the worst target possible... Yup! You guessed it: Jamie.

I covered my mouth in horror as he turned around. I was shocked when he picked up the book and then came over to were we sat. I know that seems normal but the strange part is he seemed cool with it.

He came up to us and said, "I knew girls wanted my attention but I didn't know they were desperate enough to throw a book at me."

My face turned red and I stuttered "umm... No! That's not... She... It... Uhhhh..."

"Aww she's speechless! That's adorable!" He said and then read the book tittle.

"This book seems interesting. Mind if I borrow it? Only for a little bit?" He said with a puppy dog face.

"No! Now give it!" I said irritated that he had to make everything about him.

"Why?!? I'll take good care if it and I'll let you borrow one of my books!!!" He said and stomped his foot like a little kid.

"You are so immature!" I said as I tried to reach for the book.

"No, your not!!!" Said Amy who I had forgotten was even there.

"Shut up your not helping!!" I said and hit her arm.

"OW!!! now you have to kiss it better!" She pouted.

"No! You don't deserve it! This is all your fault anyways" I said pointing at her accusingly.

"Nuh-uh"

"Yuh-huh"

"Nuh-uh"

"Nuh-uh"

"Yuh-huh... Wait... DANG IT!!! Why?!?" She said failing again.

I stuck my tongue out and then turned to Jamie. He was staring at us with an amused smile on his face.

"Really? And I'm immature?" He said

"Hey don't judge!" I snapped even though I had clearly lost that argument already.

"Whatever I'm still keeping the book, though!" He said as he ran over to his table with my book.

"You lose it you die!!!" I yelled after him.

I turned around and Amy said, "since when are you so overprotective of a book?"

I shrugged and said, "I didn't get to finish it."

"Ohhhh THAT explains it." She said and returned to her lunch.

The rest of the day is boring so I'm just gonna be lazy and not care about the rest of the day. I think I slept or was drawing through like half of it, anyways so... What's the point?

But I will tell you one thing. Jamie has an extremely horrible habit that I can't stand. He texts ME, of all people, during class!!!

Sorry if the story has been boring but I don't want to rush into the book and have it all end to soon. So sorry if you hate me for that but I promise that they will get together in a few more chapters.
