His turn to fall

Chapter 34

Kats POV

I was being dragged home, literally. When I got there Amy and Genie grabbed me and an outfit from my closet and pushed me into the bathroom to get dressed. I tried asking why but they wouldn't tell me.

So u just sighed and changed. I walked out of the bathroom in... a dress. I don't know about everyone else but I feel awkward and vulnerable in a dress so I don't like them. Unfortunately my mom loves to see me in dresses so... I feel awkward a lot.

Anyways, Any and Genie grabbed me and pushed me into a car. They kept looking at each other with a look that I couldn't decipher. "Are you guys kidnapping me?" I asked, acting scared.

"Duh, what's it look like?" Amy said that an she looked completely seriously. I froze in my seat and my eyes widened in horror. Then Amy burst out laughing.

"You should have seen your face!" she said between laughter. She laughed so hard that she wasn't making any noise anymore. I laughed at her laughing since laughing is contagious.

Genie, being sensible, started the car and drove of in the confusion. We were driving somewhere but I don't know were because after a few minutes Amy took out a blindfold and made me put it on.

I don't know how long the ride was but when we finally got there they pushed me out of the car and led me somewhere. Then they walked somewhere and yelled for me to take of the blindfold.

I took it off and looked around. I was at the park were me and Jamie had first kissed. I looked down and saw a small Hershey's kiss. I picked it up and looked it over. I looked around to see if someone might have left it but there was no one around.

My eye caught on something else on the ground. Another Kiss. I picked it up and looked around for more. there was another one and another and another! It was a trail of candy!

I followed the trail, picking up the candies one by one. I was in the middle of a wooded area when I saw a small clearing ahead. I walked into the clearing and picked up another kiss.

When I looked up I saw Jamie standing there with a rose in his hand and all of our friends were standing there holding flowers and balloons.

Jamie came up to me and grabbed my hands with his larger ones. he pressed his forehead against mine and whispered "Now that I've kissed the ground you walked on, will you oh to the dance with me?"

I swear I almost cried. I did laugh because I hadn't realized what the candy meant until he said that. "Your so dumb!" I yelled. He looked hurt for a second but then I said, "I would have said yes anyways."

His smile went from ear to ear and he picked me up and twirled me around. I felt so happy and now it all made sense, why he left so abruptly, why Genie had suggested shopping, the text she got... it was so obvious now! The thought that made me the happiest was that he hadn't been cheating on me. That thought made me hug him even tighter.
