Kats POV

'I'm kissing Jamie Andrews' was the thought running through my head as his lips pressed against mine.

It was magical and I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I know this sounds cliche but I felt an explosion somewhere inside me as his lips moved in rhythm against mine.

'Jamie took my first kiss' I thought and I felt my cheeks burning. The sun seemed to shine even brighter and the moment seemed magical as we kissed in that park.

If I had know that I would feel that strong for him I would have accepted it long ago but the question is did he feel the same?

I wouldn't know but for that magical moment I decided to lose myself in the moment. It was perfect. I can't describe it but it was the most beautiful thing that I had ever experienced.

When we couldn't breath anymore we pulled away. "Wow." I said as we both looked at each other.

I wanted to kiss him over and over again. He looked down at me with an expression that I couldn't decipher. I noticed that his cheeks were red. He looked at me and said, "I can tell you what I was going to say now."

"Why couldn't you tell me before?" I asked slightly confused.

"Because I just needed to know that I kissed you at least once." He said seriously and looked me straight in the eyes. The simple action made me melt.

I defiantly had a crush on Jamie. No, it wasn't love it was simply like. Right?

Then he said the words that would imply problems, destruction, hate and at the same time it would bring an emotion that, despite my denial, I had been wanting from someone for so long.

His words, the ones that changed me forever. He said simply three of them but they were so powerful and sincere that I knew that there was no going back.

He said, "I love you."

Those words dug deep into me and left me feeling with a purpose and feeling like I was finally alive after so many years of living in a dream.
