Chapter 32

Hey guys!! sorry I didn't update but oh well!! Life is random! ENJOY!!

Kats POV

I was so happy to hear what Jamie had told me in the closet. I wasn't the type of person to trust people easily but I couldn't doubt that Jamie loved me. I could feel it. Somehow I could feel or without someone having to show me.

I have no idea why but I didn't need him to show me, I kinda wanted him to show me though. Not in a bad way! I just wanted something romantic.

Anyways enough about my boring thoughts. Marina was having trouble in Spanish. We were currently at the library, talking about how to say different things in Spanish.

"Ok so then how do you say 'I like chicken?'" she asked.

I instantly answered, "A mi me gusta el pollo."

She tried to repeat what I had said but failed miserably. You have no idea how hard it is to teach someone a different language. It kills!

She threw her hands up in defeat. "Ok forget stupid spanish! Amy keeps talking about this guy that your dating and I want to know who!" she crossed her arms and looked at me like she was a mom.

"Fine! But I'm not telling you about him! I'll have to show you!" I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the cafeteria since it was lunch.

We walked into the cafeteria and I scanned the room for Jamie. I spotted him, talking to his friends.

"Do you see the guy with the brown hair and blue eyes? He's sitting next to the guy in with the spiky black hair and the guy with the school hoodie." I said as Marina looked around the room to try and find him.

"Wow!" she said. "He's so cute!"

"Hey! He's mine, back off!" I said playfully.

"No, not Jamie. the guy next to him in the hoodie." she stared dreamily at Jamie's other friend, Martin.

"Actually Martin is probably the best choice out of Jamie's friends... well besides Derick but Amy has her eye on him already." I don't think that Marina was actually listening.

"Do you wanna maybe... meet him?" I asked slowly.

"What?!? No! He would think I'm weird and awkward!" she started ranting about how she would just mess it up.

I put my hands in her shoulders and said, "Marina, you are awkward and clumsy and just plain out weird, but you know what? That's what makes you one of a kind. If he doesn't see that then he's an idiot."

She took a deep breath then gave a small nod. "Ok, let's go." she said shakily.

So without further encouragement I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the table. I let go of her hand when we were in range of the table. I put my arms around Jamie's neck and said, "Hey J-J!"

He laughed then turned around and said, "I thought I said no to that nickname."

I shrugged. "I said no to kitten but oh well!" I said laughing.

I gave him a peck on the lips and then turned to everyone else. "hey guys!! How's it going?"

I wasn't popular before but people knew who I was. They knew that I was fun and random when I was with friends but they weren't necessarily my friends... I'm talking to much again huh?

"Marina this is Derick, Joey, Mack, and Martin! Boys this is Marina, she's new!" I said as I plopped down next to Derrick and took his apple.

"Hey! that was mine!" He whined, something that he and Amy had in common was that they whine a lot.

"That's what you get for sitting next to my boyfriend! He's mine and you know it!" I said and crossed my arms.

Meanwhile Marina and Martin (hah Alliteration!!) had started to talk and were now in a deep conversation. I should be a matchmaker!

Anyways that's basically how lunch went. Well, actually Genie and Amy came over. Amy and Derick were flirting for the rest of the time, though. Genie also seemed interested in a Joey. I would have to ask her later. In other words I probably should become a matchmaker because I sort of brought together three future couples!
