Chapter 24

Kats POV

So you may be wondering if my parents listened to my grandmother. The answer is yes, they did. The next day they told me that after thinking it over I was free to see Jamie again.

It was funny though because he had been sneaking into my room while I was banned to see him. But hey, now I had permission. Unfortunately for me my parents decided that we needed to talk.

They told me to sit on the couch so I did. They sat down in a chair in front of me and then took my hand and started "Honey, at your age you start to experience hormonal-"

I stood up quickly and said, "Ok, no. Mom. Dad... I took a health class for a reason, you know."

They looked at me embarrassed. I walked out the door and got into my car. Of course I told them that I would be back soon.

I drove to my lake. Yes I do call it MY lake. I found it so finders keepers losers weepers! 'Oh god I am a child.' I thought and laughed at myself as I sat down on the grass.

Suddenly someone tackles me from behind and somehow landed on top of me. I looked up and saw the most amazing boy that I had ever seen. If you don't know who it is then let me tell you. It was Jamie.

I looked up into his beautiful blue eyes. I could see the specks of grey and gold in them. It looked kind of like the lake. His eyes looked like the lake as the colors swirled together. The different shades of blue came together to form a beautiful color that made me melt.

I suddenly realized that he was on top of me and that we were on the ground and staring into each other's eyes. I spoke up and said, "My parents said I could see you again."

His face lit up and he said, "Well they can't keep me away from my heart, now can they?"

I looked at him confused and he explained "you stole my heart and you still have it. I need it to survive, but I don't think that the thief will give it back."

I blushed and said, "Your absolutely right. I won't give it back because you stole mine and I need a heart too."

He smiled and gave me a sudden kiss. I didn't know why but I kissed back anyway. We both pulled away after what seemed like forever.

"What was that?" I asked.

He hugged me closely and said, "I love you so much that I can't even tell you how much I love you..."

I smiled up at him and said, "I love you more than you'll ever know."

He looked down at me with a goofy smile. I looked at him with a confused expression. That's when he pushed me into the lake.

After a few hours playing in the water we went back to the grass and lay down, holding each other and staring up at the cloud-less sky.

Jamie suddenly turned to me and said, "I love you."

I smiled and said, "I love you, too."

He pulled me closer and we stayed silent as I traced imaginary patterns on his chest. He played with my hair and I soon fell asleep.

He woke me up a while later and I groaned turning over and cuddling into him. He laughed and said something that I couldn't make out.

"Come on. We need to talk to your parents." I finally broke out of my dreams and got up.

"I don't wanna!!" I groaned.

He laughed and said, "Too bad, Kitten." He started picking up our stuff.

I stared at him for a while. He finally noticed " What?"

"Kitten?" I said.

"Yeah. Kitten. It's your new pet name." He said.

I giggled and replied "Yeah, real PET name."

He laughed and started walking to my car. "Wait. How did you get here?" I asked.

"I used my skateboard." He said casually.

"Oh, well then come on skater boy!" I said and hopped into the car.

He put his skateboard into the back and got in. I started the car and said, "Now I get to come up with a nickname for you!"

He groaned and we started to think up nicknames for him. That's basically what happened the rest of the car ride.
