Chapter 31

Jamie's POV (Kats being boring.)

So we were officially together and I was officially the happiest person EVER!!

I had never been so happy in my life. Sure, I was a "player" at this school but I had a heart. I hadn't ever felt anything with other girls, I just didn't want to reject them. But... with Kat it's different, I just feel alive with her.

Anyways, enough with the mush I needed to tell her something. It was important but she was so happy... it would break my heart to see her reaction. I knew the reaction wouldn't be good. It was a sore subject with her.

I needed to tell her though. So after Marina left I pulled her into an empty janitors closet... Which are actually not as comfortable as they look.

"Kat, I need to tell you something." I said as soon as the door closed. It was tight in there!

"What is it?" she asked quietly and I felt her breath on my lips.

I had the sudden urge to kiss her but I needed to tell her. Now! So I took a deep breath and said, "Kat, Lilly has been following me around and keeps trying to get me to break up with you."

Kats reaction went from calm to angry to worried in a time span of about five seconds.

"What?" she asked quietly. I could see the tears that were beginning to form.

"I won't leave you, Kat. I-I just wanted you to know." I said quickly. I kissed her then.

It took a while but she responded quickly. We pulled away and I whispered, "I love you... so much."

She spoke the words that I wanted to hear from her and only her. "I love you, too." she spoke softly and her voice sounded like music to my ears.

We kissed again and she pulled me closer as the kiss deepened a bit. She pulled away and said, "Your the best boyfriend ever."

I melted at the sight of her looking at me with those beautiful puppy brown eyes as I held her in my arms. She was so happy, I felt my heart flutter as I realized that the most amazing and beautiful girl in the world was mine.

I hugged her all of a sudden. She giggled and said, "Maybe you've been spending to much time with my family."

I laughed and said, "Well if we're going to be together forever then I'll need to adapt, now won't I?"

She laughed and her laugh... just... wow. I hugged her again. "I'm so glad that your mine." I said quietly.

She hugged me back and said, "Me too."

"I'm sorry that it hasn't been much of a relationship but I promise you that I will always fight for you. No matter what. I won't even go away if you tell me to because I can't live without you." I poured out my feelings.

Kat looked at me and said, "You know I've always wanted a stalker."

She laughed and said, "I'm kidding. I feel the same way. Even if you wanted to leave I would never let you." She paused and then continued with a smile. "Nope. I'd lock you in my room and then tie you to the bed."

I pretended to look frightened. "Ok... I'm a bit worried."

She got "serious" and said, "Are you planning on leaving me?" Her "serious" expression lasted about five seconds after and then she burst out laughing.

'Man I love her' I thought. She giggled and said, "Aww! I love you too!"

'Did I say that out loud?' I thought. She poked my nose and said, "Yup, you did."

I'm pretty sure that my cheeks were bright red by then. That was embarrassing.

She poked my nose again and said, "How about we go to our next class?"

"Urgh! That's no fun! Lets just leave!" I whined.

She shook her head. "No way! I am not ditching!"

I sighed. "FINE! Come on, let's get to class." I walked defeatedly out of the closet.

The halls were almost empty so that meant the bell would ring soo- RING! There it is.

Kat came out after me and we walked to our next class. I had noticed that we had the same classes but she hadn't. She wasn't as aware of me as I was aware of her until the English assignment. Speaking of which, we hadn't started yet.

"Kat, we should start working on the English paper." I whispered as we went to the back of the classroom.

"But I don't wanna!" she whined.

I raised my eyebrows. "How are you a good student if you don't do your work?"

She looked around as if she didn't want anyone to hear. "I'm smart enough to be able to do my homework at the last minute and still pass." she said smugly.

"Well, I'm not so we can go to my house to work on it and then you can meet my parents." I said.

"Your p-parents? Jamie I don't know if you've noticed but I am not very... social." she looked at the floor.

I grabbed her hand and said, "I don't think that you'll need to."

She looked at me confused. "What are you talking about?"

I winked and said, "Guess you'll have to meet them to find out."

She sighed and was about to talk when the teacher walked in. She started talking but I didn't pay attention. How could I when the perfect girl was sitting across from me doodling in her notebook and taking occasional notes?

I had meant it. I meant every "I love you" and every kiss. I meant every hug and compliment, every single gesture that I had done. I loved Kat with my while heart and I needed her to know that.

I love this chapter and I hope you did too. I wanted a point of view of Jamie because he has feelings too!

Also since he's a player the question about his feelings towards Kat are even more important.
