Chapter 9

Hey guys!!! How are you? I am really happy because everyone's updating now that we're our of school for a bit. so yeah enjoy and know that the next few chapters will be eventful thanks to a little help from my friend Cece.

Kats POV

After a while it got annoying so I shouted "FINE!!! Just shut up already!!"

He immediately stopped shouting. "Ok now kiss me."

"Where's the booboo?" I asked.

"On my lips." He replied and I noticed that his voice was now deeper and huskier.

"A-are you s-sure? It might be hiding on your cheek." I said not wanting to lose my first kiss in a car. Not even if it was this beautiful car.

"Is this your first kiss?" He asked.

'Dang it! Kat control your facial expressions!!' I thought as I nodded, speechless.

"Oh well in that case..." He turned the car and started driving off.

"Um... My house is that way." I said as I pointed toward my house.

"I know." He said casually.

"Where are we going?" I asked nervously. Things don't usually go well when this happens in movies.

"Somewhere special." He said just as casually as before.

I couldn't do anything about it so I just decided to just drop it and stared out the window.

~~the rest of the boring car ride~~

"We're here." He said as he stopped the car.

He got out of the car and opened the door for me. 'Aww gentleman.' I thought as I got out.

We were in the middle of nowhere in an empty park. It looked beautiful with it's very green grass and the sun reflecting off of the leaves on the tree. It was one of those parks for grown ups. There weren't any kid playgrounds around.

"It's beautiful..." I said amazed at how stunning it all was.

"Yeah it is..." He whispered but as I turned to him he was looking at me not the park.

I turned towards him and said, "this really is special. How did you find it?"

He grabbed my hand as we started walking.

"I was out exploring the town and I found this while I was lost. your the only person I've brought here." As he said that somehow I got butterflies in my tummy.

I quickly reminded myself not to get attached. But the feeling of his hand in mine gave me a funny, tingly feeling.

We stopped at what seemed like the center of the park. I looked around it was perfect. The trees seemed to sparkle and the sun that came through the leaves seemed to drip of happiness.

"I need to tell you something!" Jamie blurted.

"Ok what is it?" I said as I looked up at him.

I don't know if I moved or if he did but know we were really close to each other. I could feel his minty breath fan my face as he tried to speak. His blue- green eyes were so close that I could see the fleks of grey in them as they sparkled.

"I-I umm... I... I can't do it." He said defeatedly as he looked at his shoes.

"What is it?" I asked confused. He looked back up at me and his gaze made me melt.

'Why didn't I feel this before?' I thought to myself. His intense gaze made my cheeks turn red and my stomach do flips. What was that weird feeling?

I felt myself leaning in as we locked eyes. His gaze suddenly darted away from my eyes and down to my lips. I did the same and his plump, soft lips looked so inviting...

What happened next started a battle of survival against one another.
