Chapter Twenty-Nine

Harry stayed stiff and it seems to me that he let no air enter him. No movement or emotion came out. He didn't bother to hug back but just stand there like a statue. My arms left his thin body and looked up at him.
"You hugged me-" He almost sounded scared. "Why?"
"Because I was happy for you." I said.
He pushes his upper teeth, biting down to his bottom lips, to clear his chapped lips.
Harry looks away then walks towards the back entrance.
"I'll see you at night to drive you." He turns and continues his way.
Leaving me behind like many times before.
Sighing, I slowly walk towards the back entrance as well.
-Day 19
It was a calm first two hours in the big store Sears, without a sight of Harry not even Jason.
"Are you and Jason a thing?" Said a female who startled me from behind.
I turn and see that familiar face from the party I went almost three weeks ago. Can't seem to pick up her real name.
She was tall, slightly dark skinned, a very small thin body which made me sink my stomach in.
"Um, I don't know you." I blush.
"Goody-To-Shoes?" She battles to make me remember. "I'm Elle."
"Oh, you!" I point out slightly louder than I planned. "Right." I snapped. "No! Me and Jason are just friends."
"Just friends?" She laughs. "He blabbers about you day and night."
"What?" I blink numerously. "He does?"
"Totally!" She smiles. "He really isn't a bad guy, Darce! Go out with him, be surprise of how kind and gentle he is."
"I am." Elle opens her eyes and nods.
"He really likes you." She says the gasps. "HE works here?"
I found it rather weird that she was speaking to me rather fondly because last time I saw her she was completely unkind and rude. People change? But not so sure.
"Who?" I turn and see those familiar curls tangled back from the sides of his head. "That Co-Worker?"
"Who knows what his name is." She replies. "He works here? He didn't tell me that." She whispered.
I didn't recall what she tried to inform but noticed that Harry was walking towards us.
"Well, I need to work." I rush over to put new boxes of shoes to the shoe section.
"He is coming over." She lightly chuckles. "You can go."
I rush to go to the shoe sections with five boxes in my hands. I heard a gasp of astonishment from behind and see Harry over Elle. The boxes I once had fell out of my hands, making Harry turn and angrily turn to Elle again.
"Fuck off." I heard him say and left her there.
My view towards Harry wasn't a pretty sight, I gently duck to pick the boxes, then heard the heavy footsteps.
"Sorry." He said.
"For what?" I set my hands on my knees and look at him.
"Getting violent with that swooned fuck." He turns to glare at Elle, who was still there rather furious. "She is part of Jason's crew or whatever the fuck they call themselves."
