Chapter Eighty

* L e n i n a *

"I barely know you for you to identify who I am." He scold so evilly.

Harry has never acted so cold. And the look in his eyes - they were something I wouldn't hold a second to look at. The darkness in between them made goosebumps to spread and seeing him look at me blankly made me turn away.

"Who are you?" I blink numerously. "You are acting-" A laugh escaped out from him, making quickly turn towards him and caught that he rolled his eyes then brought the rag he has in his hand to cleaned the counter.

"You don't want to be near me." He recalled. "I'm not good." Instantly, I think of Darcy. How could he be with him if he is not good, plus she is sweet. Harry tilts his head and scoffs. "I just hate people."

I didn't say anything but think of poor Darcy. Harry laughed in small volume, and just continued to take over register. Sighing, I walk over to the very back and laid on the wall. What just happen at his happy state? Who is he? Why is acting so cruel?

Later that quiet time, hearing Harry -in a monotone way- tell the costumers, "Welcome to That Tea Shoppe, glad to serve you the greatest teas. Our special is on the sign over on top me. Have any questions? I'd love to answer them. Can I take your order?" I'm surprised he memorized what to say but he sounded so bored which bothered me.

As of right now, he is talking and the customer in front of him seemed like he is not taking him seriously by the expression of the person was. So, I push Harry out in the way in anger.

"I'm sorry, he isn't having a good day." I say through my teeth, and turned to him who had furious eyes fuming towards me. He looked at customer and back at me, then looked in front of him and walked out, and out the store.

I fixed my black collared shirt that read Jerry's Pizza on the side, and with my cap on, giggling at how I looked. Then gasped at the time, and rushed out the door, seeing Lenina stroll towards her dorm.

"Darcy!" She ran.

"My first day at my new job! Sorry! I gotta run!" I waved, running past her. I turned back around giving her a look of sympathy while she gave me a weak smile. Yet I turned around to run towards my car.

When I got to the place, it was packed with people. I was shocked by the number of people there was. Considering that today was a Thursday. Libby signaled me to the back, and went.

"Normally it's not like this." She said in a small giggle in between, hearing people shout different kinds of pizza's in the background. "I want you to place pepperoni's onto the pepperoni topping pizza. Easy enough?"

"Easy enough!" I command with a large grin. "Are you like manager?"

"Yes." She smiled and hopped went somewhere else as I began.

It was late, around eleven at night when I finished cleaning everything. I suggested it so I can get a little bit more hours. Yawning, I scrub the counters clean.

"I'll scrub them." I heard a male voice, making me jump.

"I thought I was the only one here." I turn with my hand above my heart. Then noticed Lance, remembering those very blue eyes. "Lance? Hi!" I chirped when I noticed him. He looked rather confused for a second, raising his eyes when he had a hint of remembrance of whom I was.

"Darla?" He said pointing at me.

"Darcy. It's Darcy." I laughed, earning a little laugh from him excusing himself because of his mistake.

"You work here?" He said. "I didn't even notice you."

"Just started today actually," I replied. "It's not that hard."

"Try working in the back, putting them in the oven." He whipped his forehead. "Nah, it's not even hard. It's money." His voice was so unique than the male around America. Also, I am so use to everyone talking in an English accent, and hearing him makes me think back home. "But I hope the best for you." He flashed a while big grin, bigger than Harry's and walked out with a wave.

My eyes followed him, seeing Libby standing where he headed as she shivered. There was a window instead of a wall covering the front of the store, so I saw everything so perfectly. He hugged her, picking her up in a twist. They looked so happy.

Sighing, I was beginning to miss Harry. Then I heard the door open again, hoping it would be Harry. It was Lance. Confused, I took a step back not really sure why he came back in.

"Go on head. You need your rest." He told me. "I said I'll scrub them."

"But I-"

"But nothing Darla." He said while he kindly gave me a push out the door. I laughed because he has forgotten my name again but left it unsaid. He waved goodbye as I walked towards my car.

I texted Harry that I am fine and that I'm on my way to the university. He messaged me back with a sad face which made me pout and hurry back to just see him. I'll consider my late night sleep acceptable and worth it just to see his face makes me tingle.

As I drove, I kept focus on the road. Also got interrupted by what Harry said yesterday and my idiot mind decided to consider touching. I'm such a fool by demanding such thing. I groaned and rubbed my hair by trying to erase my thoughts. It didn't work.

Now, I was walking back to my dorm room, hoping Harry to be there. Opening the door in curiosity, I saw him laid on my bed with his phone above his head, hearing a tune of a game melody. It made me laugh, catching him turn right away.

"Baby." He smiles. "Come."

I set my things down, probably smell like pizza, but make sure I lock my door this time. I took my cap off, and set it aside onto of my counter. I kneeled next to my bed where Harry was laying on top of. "Hi." I cooed. "How are you?" I grab his head and throat just to make sure he hasn't caught a cold. Since, he catches it pretty fast and the weather is changing very quickly.

"Well worked as well." He shrugged, grabbing my hand. Harry turned over to me, where we were almost face to face but I towered him a little. "Lenina is so annoying."

"What!" I told him. "I thought you liked her?"

"Shit, I did but-" he paused, "she is just weird. You know I hate people."

Sighing, I grab his curls. "Harry that the old you. You have changed a little. Remember?"

He sighed as well, and smiled. "For you." He kissed my knuckles. "Sleep by me. It's late, I don't care how you smell, I want you now."

I smile and stand up to get on but I couldn't go over on top of him because that is awkward. One side of my bed was angled next to my wall, and my counter was on the end of my bed which my only choice was to go over.

"Harry," I whispered. "Scoot over?"

"No, just over me." He smirked.

"Harry." I begged, but he just smirked even deeper. "It's just, please scoot over."

He laughed, "Baby, getting on top of me is not big of a deal. Not like I'll make you do things." I gasped by his dirty thought, making me think wrong. Even if he wasn't being nasty to me, it seemed nasty if that makes sense? Yet, perhaps in the future- STOP. I can't be thinking about things like this anymore. My hormones are all over the place. Yet, I love him. Isn't that something we should do when you're love?

Make love?
