Chapter Sixty-Three

The look of his face was serious about the topic he has just exposed. Of course, I would love to get to know him better because I have so many questions left to ask him by his mysterious self than how I already viewed him before. Harry's dazzling eyes were getting shinier - despite the redness and dark circles - he still managed to look divine, sitting upwards to face directly towards my face ready to answer all the unanswered questions.

"I'm not so shy anymore." His voice buzzed very lowly, sounding a little nasally.

"How long has it been since she was gone?" I asked something great in his life, clearly what made him into a sad and lonely person he slowly beginning to let go.

"It's almost going to be nine years." He answered, and when he did - I reacted quickly, taking his hand into mine. Harry looked down to my hand, and the most marvelous feeling has brushed around my body when I felt his hand stack on top of mine. He has responded by my sudden hand hold, placing his gently on top of mine. It was a great feeling, but that was not the only feeling I endured. The feeling his pained past has made me react to his loss, it's like loosing a sibling because you love them so much. There can never be anything powerful than God or love.

"How was she like me?" I asked another deep question, seeing him loudly gulp. He has tightened his hands, beginning to grip them harder. I didn't mind the pain because he is feeling pain while he thought of it.

"She was beautiful." Harry opened up while looking at me. Not once departing from the eye contact. He was focused on my eyes. "Like you. Her same persona was exactly like you. Though, she was slightly more in the innocent side, more leading into the in deep talking of our father. She was a little more serious but fun, and very playful at times. She will always take care of me when I was ill, and she will always visit me in my old house with a great positive attitude. Choir was her passions, our passions." Through out his speaking, I sense the love vibe he had for her. The comparison between me and Melanie slightly offended me because I feel like he thinks I AM - Melanie. I am Darcy/ Mary only. Yet, I didn't want to say a word about it.

"That does slightly sound like me." I weakly smile, and rub my thumb on his hand that was under mine while he rubbed his thumb on my hand that gently set a while ago.

"But you are unique like her. A person that I will never think as Melanie. You are you. I witnessed that I have compared her to you, and I am sorry." It's like he read my mind in just that while. It was a relief he announced that I am my only person - his Mary.

"Why did you seek for popularity in high school?" I asked, getting less touching.

"It was high school, Mary." He quickly replies, and all those theories where everyone seek for a well known face to make their high school life memorable came to mind. To me they are just trying be cool, especially those who think they are too cool, being jerks to the unpopular. "I wanted to make my high school life better because I was this nerd-looking guy at my other school back in Holmes Chapel. In the first two years in secondary school, people actually picked on me because I was really lame. Mary, you don't know how lame I was. I guess you can say I was the type of guy in a movie that everyone thought I was different. When I tried talking to girls, I would stutter so much even if I was asking for a fucking paper or some school supply. I had friends, surprisingly, but they were all the nerd ones too. They said I was cute but I was really weird and looked like a pervert even though I was only sixteen." Harry looked angry now, squeezing my hand again and eyes furrowing at his cuss word. "When I got well known in this school, I was treated differently. One, because of my accent and the girls seem to squeal when I spoke. Two, I changed my style into a more bad boy type because in many movies I have watched, they get the sluts. It worked. Everything sorta changed and I liked it. Then you already happened after that." He shrugs.
