Waiting outside the classroom door was our teacher, Miss Leighton. As she saw us approaching she smiled and greeted us as we went inside and took our seats at the backI took out my books and pencil case and waited for the class to begin
"Fancy going out this weekend?" Matt whispered in my ear
I blushed "I like the sound of that"
He showed me a website on his phone for the new cinema that's opened near his house
"7pm this Saturday, there's a showing for Lost, it looks pretty good. My treat" he replied
"It's a date" I quickly kissed his cheek, just as Miss Leighton walked in to begin teaching
She stood at the front of the classroom and got out a stack of textbooks "Please read from page 111-119 and make notes on the studies. There will be a quiz in the next few days on what you're reading so make sure you understand the content. Any questions just raise your hand and I'll be over"
I flicked to the required pages and began reading. The study we had to answer questions on was about a psychologist clled Freud, who basically is investigating this kid who's got a fear of white horses. Pretty standard psychology lesson if you ask me
"What did you get for question 4?" Matt asked
I read my answer to him "The unconscious mind"
He frowned and scratched his head "What does that mean? This study is pretty weird"
I laughed at him in a teasing way and explained the answer
"You're smart and gorgeous. I'm lucky" he flirted, kissing my cheek
"Alexa! Matt! Please no PDA in my lesson" Miss Leighton warmed, as she walked past us
"Sorry Miss" I whispered
She shook her head but cracked a small laugh and smile as she walked away
Before we knew where we were, the lesson was over, and Matt and I were on our way again to meet Hannah and Adam. Having double psychology on a Monday morning is draining, but what gets me through is knowing I have a free period AND lunch as well as that afterwards
