"Mum's coming home on Saturday, she text Brandon saying she's flying Friday evening and will land Saturday" Luke mentioned as we walked into college together"She hasn't really been in contact with me" I admitted, sticking out my bottom lip
Luke flung his arm around me "Don't worry, she's been ignoring our messages too! Only messaging when she has something to say"
I sighed "She's coming home soon, I'm scared that she'll stay for a while, then go back off to New York and we will hardly see her"
"Don't you worry, whatever happens, you'll always have us guys" Corey kissed the top of my head "We won't leave you at all"
I softly smiled at them "Thanks guys, it means a lot"
"We're family, we don't leave each other behind. No matter what" Luke nodded to his twin and me
Corey
I strolled into the Gym in my kit, preparing for an intense PE lesson before the game tonight
"Okay boys, we have an important match tonight! I will give a talk as usual beforehand, but for now it's drills to warm up" Coach ordered
I love our Coach, he's called Ricky and he's originally from Canada, when training, he knows how to motivate us and keep us going
"Get into pairs, grab a ball and begin the usual" he added
One of my team mates Harry came over to me with a ball in hand "Come on Wilson, let's get going"
I nodded at him as we went into an empty part of the gym to begin warming up. Harry is one of my team mates who usually plays midfielder. He's a good player but gets very competitive
"You ready for the game?" he asked, shooting the ball to me
Stopping it with my foot and kicking it back, I nodded at him "Always ready, you know that!"
We were one player down, as the Captain of the team I made the decision to boot Matt from the group. He's aware of it but doesn't know that he's not playing tonight, in his place we've got one of Luke's geography friends
"I heard about the fight with your sister and Abbie, it looked brutal man" Harry called out, running his hands through his brown curly hair
"Yeah, she was pretty badly hurt" I replied to him, not wanting to instigate a conversation about the past events
Harry smiled "She's single now"
I looked at him and bluntly replied "Hands off, Jones"
"She's single, it's a free country" he smirked
Walking over to him, I looked at him in the eyes "I'm warning you, go near my sister and you're dead"
Harry isn't the type of guy that I want my sister associating herself with, he's a player and will break up with her when he 'finds someone better'
"Oooooh, you're grumpy" he laughed
Coach blew his whistle, getting our attention as he explained what we would be doing now "Boys, we're moving on, go put your footballs away and get a bib, either blue or red and stand with those of the same coloured bib and wait for further instruction. Wilson I want to speak to you outside"
I walked away from the group and waited outside the Gym hall for Coach, who joined me seconds after
"You got the team sorted tonight?" he asked, pulling out his phone
I nodded "Sure have, we've got a good team"
Ricky smiled and patted my back "I knew I could trust you! Just make sure you play your best out there tonight, it's the final one before you guys begin your exams, lets end it on a high"
"You're a good kid, Wilson. You're sporty and have talent. We'll miss you when you leave, you've given a lot to this team and have helped us win a lot"
"I'm only the captain! We play as a team, we're not individuals out on the pitch, we work together and it pays off" I replied
"You're right there Corey, I'm glad you realise it's team work and not individualistic"
Alexa
I sat with my brothers and their friends at lunch, sitting quitely and eating my sandwich. They were discussing their game tonight, but I couldn't really participate so just remained silent
"Our game starts in two hours! Last one of the season, let's bring the trophey home" one of Corey's team-mates, Alfie cheered "We can do this guys, c'mon"
"Hey if we win, drinks and a party at mine!" volunteered James, another team player
I looked up at Luke, who was busy concentrating on his phone, from what I could see, he was busy looking at Universities and accommodations
"Good luck boys" I grinned
James and Alfie looked at me and smiled
"You're invited too if we win! You and Lukey" James nodded "It'll probably be at the weekend though
I only really met James and Alfie this past few weeks, they're both really good friends with the twins, but I've not come into contact with them, since I tend to avoid their friends at all costs, it's the simple sibling rule - you stay away from your older brothers friends
No matter what...
