"No I need to tell you something" I replied.

Liam seemed stunned, taken aback. I felt like I had something to say but I didn't know what. I decided to let my brain run its course. It obviously knew what it wanted unlike me.

"I love you" he blurted.

I burst out laughing, covering my face in my hands at the ridiculous motion. When I saw the hurt and anger on his face. I stopped.

"You've just been turned and it's near the full moon. You're hormones are running wild you dont love me" I said.

He scratched the back of his head and let out a nervous laugh.

"Yeah I guess you're right" he said.

Together we went downstairs to find Ethan packing up the trunk of the car along with Jess.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Jess is going to some friends out a few states over" he said. "Safety from the wolves"

Without even offering, me and Liam helped Ethan load everything into the car. Jess was sitting in the passenger seat sleeping with headphones on which was lucky for us because of the awful racket we were making.

"I'll be back in a few days" he said. "Take care of yourselves"

I reached inside the car and grabbed his arm before he could drive off.

"Would you... Would you take everything back? Forget all about me so none of this ever happened?"

He didn't reply. Instead he drive off long into the night leaving me with a question that was never answered.

I entered back into the house and looked in the fridge. Surprisingly I found a few beers. I took one out and cracked it open with my teeth, taking a long swig. It became clear quite quickly that I didnt like the taste but I kept drinking it because getting drunk seemed like an appropriate response to my life so far. Liam walked in just as I had managed to successfully throw the bottle halfway across the room into the bin. As Liam started preparing food, I walked into the living room and flicked through the TV eventually settling on some old black and white film.

An hour later the film had finished, feeling me with relief. I had never been so bored in all my life.

"Well that was a waste of an hour"

I laughed. "Yeah it was, sorry about that"

Liam grabbed the remote and switched the TV off.

"Is there anything else to do? I'm bored"

"Nope"

I sighed and fiddled with my fingers. I could feel the boredom hanging over me like a dark clouds made worse by the oncoming full moon.

"I'm getting a shower" I said before jumping up and running into the bathroom.

I stripped off my clothes and almost ran into the shower. The hot water burst in action and I almost screamed at how hot it was. I managed to control myself and quickly cleaned myself up. Once I stepped out the shower I relaised I had made a stupid embarrassing mistake. There was no towels for me to cover myself with.

Cringing and mentally scolding myself I called it to Liam and asked him for bring me a towel. Less than 30 seconds later there was a small knock on the door. I opened it an inch, Liam thrust his hand in with a man's T-shirt and shorts.

"No towels" he called in.

"Isn't there anything a bit girlish" I called cringing at my awkwardness. The hand retreated and came back with a nightie. I thanked him and grabbed the nightie slipping myself into it.

It was extremely short, shorter than what I thought. It barely covered my legs and seemed like a T-shirt more than anything else. Sighing, I opened the door and peeked out. Liam was making something in the kitchen but with his back to me I couldn't see what. Taking a deep breath I opened the door and ran into the corridor next to me, up the stairs and into the bedroom slamming the door shut.
