Miranda's pov

I was skyping Sierra over Facebook messenger. I had my headphones plugged in. Jason, Brittany, and the girls were out. "I still can't believe what happened." I say, smiling. "Girl you're going on tour with Jason Aldean!" She says. I laugh softly and nod. "This is the coolest. He taught me how to play guitar too!" "He's great!" She says. She looks away. "Ok mom!" "What's that?" I ask. "I'm leaving somewhere in a minute." "Oh ok." "I gotta go." "Ok. Talk to ya later." I get off the phone and go downstairs. I fix a sandwich and play bejeweled on my phone while listening to music.

*a few hours later*

I hear Jason's truck pull into the drive. I put my CD player up and walk outside. There's a car behind his, confusing me. "Who's that?" I ask. The door opens and I see a flash of blonde hair. My eyes go wide. "S-Sierra?" I gasp shakily. "Surprise!" Jason says. "Sierra!" I cry, running over and hugging her. "Oh Sierra it's so good to see you!" I can't help but tear up. She's my best friend. Me and Sierra walk over to Jason and the girls. "Thank you so much! I've probably said that about 20 times since meeting you." We all three laugh. "I'm gonna get started on dinner." Brittany says, taking the girls inside. "I figured she could be your roadie." "Ooh girl, you're gonna be a superstar." I laugh. "Oh man, I can't wait for the tour!" I gasp excited. "You and me both darlin'." Jason says, patting my head. I smile. He's the best. We go inside and eat dinner. Sierra is gonna bunk with me. "This is the coolest." I whisper, falling asleep exhausted.

*2 weeks later*

I'm shaking. My first show. I grip the mic tight. "Here goes nothing." I whisper wide eyed. Jason pats my shoulder. "You got this." He says, easing my nerves. "I couldn't have done this without you." I say, hugging him. "And now, a new face on the Nashville scene, Miranda Brown!" "You're up." He says. I shakily get my guitar and walk out onstage for my first time.
