Miranda's pov

My bathing suit strap broke. "Don't worry. We'll get you a new one." Cool! She calls for Keely and Kendyl to get ready.

*later*

Me and Mo were hanging at the lake with his friends. I recognized some of them. Chase Rice, Thomas Rhett, Chris Lane, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, and Micheal Ray. Mo rests a hand on my shoulder. "Thanks for inviting me." I say, smiling up at him. "Oh of course. Would I go to a party without my girlfriend?" He says. Wow! I turn around, staring up at the tall dark haired musician. "Did you just-" "Yep..... Well if.... Ya want to be my girlfriend?" He asks, nervously. I smile and get on my tip toes to kiss him on the lips. "Yeah." I whisper, his arms wrapping around my waist. He smiles. "I love you, Miranda." He whispers, kissing me gently. He said he loved me!!!! He loves me too!!!! I'm so happy.

"So your Mo's new skank?" A voice growls behind me. I turn around confused. A dark haired girl stands behind me, arms crossed over her highly pumped up chest. Long dark hair laying calmly on her shoulders. Dark blue shirt over a mini skirt. "Excuse me?" I ask. "Oh nothing." She says, rolling her eyes. "Whore." She whispers walking away. "Bitch." I grumble under my breath. I find Mo hanging out by the trucks with Chase and Micheal. I walk over. "This chick with dark hair. Do you know her?" He bites his lip. "Uh oh. You're talking about Kacey aren't you?" I glance behind me. "She's just my jealous ex girlfriend. I was hoping she wouldn't show up but she did. Did she hurt you?" "Not physically. But she called me a whore." "Fuck her. You're not a whore." He says, hugging me. I smile.

Luckily Kacey hasn't bothered me since our first encounter. The sun was starting to set and it was beautiful. Mo kissed me softly. "Isn't it gorgeous?" I whisper. He smiles. "Not as beautiful as you." He says, resting a hand on my knee as we sat on a blanket. I laced my fingers with his. "Oh Mo, I love you." I say, kissing his cheek. He puts a finger under my chin, kissing me hard, his hand moving to the back of my neck as we make out. Then his other hand drifts dangerously close to my skirt and slides up my leg. I grab it quickly. "M-Mo... W-Wait...." I gasp, shakily. "What's wrong?" I'm embarrassed to tell him. "You can tell me anything baby." He says, looking worried as his hand moves to my cheek. "I'm.... I'm scared." "Why?" "Well I'm.... I'm... A virgin." I whisper, turning dark red. "Oh.... I... Um.... What do ya want to do?" "Just... Can... We wait a little?" He smiles. "I'll wait as long as you want. I love you, Miranda." I sit up and hug him. "Thanks Mo." He hugs me tight. "We don't have to have sex but I do love to pleasure my girl." The nerves creep into me again. I shakily link my hands behind his head. "Ok." He smiles and lays me back down and kisses me, his hand rubbing my leg. I whisper his name. He makes me feel so complete.

He drops me back off and we were standing in the porch light, holding hands. He had a lipstick smudge on his cheek. I laughed and rubbed it away. He laughed too and pulled me into another soft kiss. I love this boy. The door opens, making me jump in surprise when dad stands there. I smile and wave. "See ya later, Mo." I say. He nods and walks to his truck. I stare after him until I feel a hand on my shoulder. "So how'd it go?" "It went great." I say. "Nothing happened?" My face gets hot. "Of course not!" I gasp embarrassed. We go inside and I head up to my room to call Sierra.

*a few days later*

Sierra came to town to visit with her boyfriend Jordan. Mo joined us for a double picnic on the lake. After eating, we were skipping stones on the water. "Hey Miranda, I have a song for you." Oh cool! I'm super excited. "I can't wait to hear it!" I cry, sitting crosslegged on the blanket. Sierra gets her phone out and records him through a live video. He strums on the guitar. "He's gross. She's got cooties, that's just how it's supposed to be. He hates dumb tea parties and she won't climb a tree, it's a boy an a girl thing, a girl and a boy thing. She'll stop wearin' pigtails, and get the braces off her teeth, he'll stop making' faces, start savin' her a seat, it's a boy and a girl thing, a girl and a boy thing. She'll start wearin' make up, and he'll start noticin' the curves, they'll get a little nervous when she's with him and he's with her, is he gonna kiss me? Wonder if she wants me to? Awkwardly embarrassed not sure what to do. It's a boy and a girl thing.... A girl and a boy thing." This song is so amazing! I love it in every way! Sierra and Jordan love it too. "They'll throw around I love you's, start makin' plans to say I do, start a brand new life together, probably have a couple babies too. They'll fight and act like children and make up like they're seventeen and even when they're 80, it still will always be.... A boy and a girl thing, a girl and a boy thing." I didn't realize but Sierra turned the live video to me and I had tears streaming down my cheeks. I wipe my eyes and push her phone away from me.

Jason's pov

Me and Britt were watching Sierra's live video of Mo's performance. She turned the phone to Miranda and you could easily see the tears on her cheeks. "Oh Mo!" She gasps, hugging him. "I love you." He whispers. "I love you too." She cries. Wow. He's not gonna run off. They're really in love! "See. Worried for nothing." Britt says, lightly punching my shoulder. I smile embarrassed. I kiss her gently. "I've never been more glad to be wrong."
