Miranda's pov

I was back home at dad's house. I was still feeling lightheaded and weak. Sierra was sitting beside my bed the whole time. "I'm fine, Sierra. Really." Just then dad brings up some lunch. I smile. "Thanks daddy. B-But when can I go back to Mo's?" "As soon as he stops acting like a dick." "Dad!" I gasp, trying not to laugh. "What? It's true!" He says also laughing. "You guys! Come on. That's my husband!" He sighs. "Sweety, I liked him in the beginning but he's starting to grind my gears." I sigh.

*later*

Mo's pov

I wake up next to some girl I dont even know. Ugh. I've gotta figure this out. Ever since the miscarriage, everything has been going downhill with me and her. I think I need to break it off with her. Jason's gonna kill me.

Miranda's pov

I was scrolling through channels, finally having regained my strength when Mo came over. Uh oh. "You need to leave before dad sees you." He's hungover. "I have to tell you something." I sigh. "What?"

Jason's pov

"I cheated on you." My eyes go wide. I run out of the kitchen. She was staring at him shocked. "I think we should call it quits." He sets his ring on the table. "You.... You can't just break it off! We're married! We'll have to-" "I filed for divorce this morning." I walk over furious. "You sicken me Mo." I growl, punching him in the face. I angrily toss him out. "You come back around here, you'll meet the wrong end of a nine mm." "I'm sorry it ended this way. I really did love her but..... It faded away." "Love doesn't just fade away." "What about you and Jessica?" My eyes go wide. "You don't know what you're talking about punk." "Yes I do. You stopped loving her and found Brittany!" "Shut the fuck up, boy before I knock the livin' shit outta you." "It's okay, dad. Just let him go." "Get outta here." Finally he leaves and I walk back inside, enraged. I grab a beer and sit on the couch.

Miranda's pov

I sit beside him on the couch. "Dad, what'd he mean out there?" He sighs. "You know what happened between me and Jess right?" "Yeah the night you met Brittany." He smiles. "Yeah that night. Obviously as you know I was still married when it all happened." "Yeah but you and Britt met and fell in love instead." I say. He nods. "Just like Jessica wasn't the right girl for me, Mo turned out not to be the right guy for you. You'll find someone else too." "My dad cheated on my mom." I whisper.

Jason's pov

"What?" "That's why they got divorced. My dad cheated on my mom for eleven years." Man he's a such jerk! I mean I messed up one time but eleven years! "Well what I'm saying is we both found someone after everyone went down. Me and Britt and your mom and Chris. You'll find someone too."

Miranda's pov

I stare at the ring Mo left on the table. I pick it up and throw them both out the window then I cry in my daddy's arms. After about thirty minutes, he went to bed and I got drunk.

*the next day*

Jason's pov

Jessica came to pick the girls up for the week. Brittany walked down the stairs looking worried. "What's wrong?" "Check upstairs." Uh oh. "You do know about her and Mo filing for divorce right?" She nods. "Miranda's hungover." Dang it! I walk upstairs. "Miranda, wake up. You're not supposed to even be drinking!"

Miranda's pov

Oh man, my head is pounding. I rub my temples and sit up. He sits down beside me and hugs me. "You're gonna get through this stronger than before." "I hate Mo." "I know you do, baby." He picks something up off my desk. "What's this?" I don't know. "It's a song. A damn good one at that." Oh yeah. Now I remember. "Songs like this. I wrote it after getting drunk and forgot I did." "You need to stop. You can't drink like this. You're too young and you've got so much going for you. You don't wanna wind up like Mo. Drunk and slowly losing everything and everyone." He's right. "How do you always know what to say?" I ask, looking up. "Experience, darlin'. Experience from my own past." I hug him tight.

*a few weeks later*

Jason's pov

"And if it wasn't for guys like you there wouldn't be songs like this! And if ya hadn't gone and done me wrong I wouldn't go off like this! Even I'm surprised how easy sweet revenge rolls off my lips. Yeah if it wasn't for guys like you, there wouldn't be.... Songs.... Like... This! Yeah! Goodnight Atlanta Georgia! It was great to see you all!" I shout excitedly. I highfive fans and head backstage, running into the arms of my amazing father. "You did great out there baby girl." I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around. "Mike." I say. He smiles. "You're such a beautiful star." I smile. "Thanks Mike." I say, hugging him. My life is getting better with each passing day. Thanks to my wonderful dad. And he's right someday. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow but someday I'll find someone who loves me.
