Honeymooners

Miranda's pov

I wake up at the honeymoon suite with breakfast on the table beside me. Cole smiles from across the room while on the phone. "Good morning, girl." I smile and stretch. He walks over and kisses me softly then I eat breakfast. After that, we explore gulf shores, Alabama which is where we decided to go for the honeymoon. "Ooh Cole let's hit the beach!" I say, excited. He laughs and nods. We go to the beach. I play in the waves. Cole takes a picture for a scrapbook back home. We have pictures in it from the wedding and pictures will go in it for the honeymoon. I'm so excited to start my new life with Cole!

Jason's pov

I walk into my trophy room proudly putting my album of the year award for they don't know on a shelf. I won it last night at the CMA awards. "Great album, Jason." I smile. "Thanks baby. What's your favorite song?" "Hm, it's a tie between in case you don't remember, all outta beer, and a little more summertime." My eyes drift to the ultrasound picture I kept after Miranda's first pregnancy. I really wish she didn't lose the baby. Although Mo turned out not to be right for her, it's still painful. I know it's hard for her. "What ya thinkin' baby?" Brittany asks. I shake the bitter thoughts. "Just stoked by how much folks liked the album." I lean against my desk, not wanting to tell Britt that I'm upset about the baby. "Well Jason, I'm gonna go to bed early, I'm tired." I smile. "Ok girl. Love you." "Don't stay up too late." "I won't." She goes to bed and I grab a beer from the fridge then go watch TV.

*the next day*

I get the mail and smile seeing a letter from our honeymooners! I go inside before opening it. "Hey Britt, we got a letter from Miranda!" I call. She walks down in the middle of curling her hair. "Going somewhere?" "Just meeting some friends. What's the letter say?" I open it and see a picture of Miranda laughing wearing her bathing suit while the ocean water splashes. I smile and show Britt the picture. She smiles. "Aw gulf shores. We went there for our honeymoon." She says dreamily. I love that. I pull the letter out and sit on the couch. "Dear mom and dad, I'm having the most amazing time in Alabama! It's beautiful here and the ocean is so much fun! It's my first time to even see it but I'm having a blast. Thanks for the suggestion mama. Thank you both so much for everything you've done for me. And I don't mean just since you took me in but even before. I always looked up to you dad as my role model and I always will. You both make me so glad to be alive and I can't wait to share the love with our own little one in nine months!" "Holy crap!" Britt gasps. I shakily stand up. "Oh my gosh, Britt, our baby girl is pregnant!" She stands up too, biting her lip. "She ain't the only one." My hands tense up. "What?" I gasp. "I said our daughter isn't the only pregnant one." My eyes go wide. "B-Britt.... Are... Are you pregnant?" She nods. "Surprise!" She says, smiling. "M-My wife and daughter are pregnant at the same time!" Brittany hugs me. I'm so shocked by it all. "I love you so much baby girl." I say, kissing her.

Miranda's pov

I rub my stomach, remembering the first baby. I smile imagining dad's face when he read the end of the letter. Cole got out of the shower. He lays beside me and just then my phone rings with Dad's number. I laugh. "Right on time." Cole says also laughing. I answer it with a smile. "Hello?" "Don't hello me baby girl. You're pregnant again?" I laugh and nod. "Yes." "Well you know who else is?" "Huh?" I ask confused. "Your mom just told me when we got your letter that she's pregnant too. And was gonna surprise me later!" "Wow. Mom's pregnant too. Funny. So daddy you're gonna have two very hormonal women on your hands. Do you think you and Cole can handle it?" He sighs but I can hear the smile in his voice. He's glad. I can tell. "Do I even have a choice?" "Nope. Love you daddy!" He laughs softly. "Love you too sweet girl, see ya in a few days." I get off the phone and Cole pulls me into a sharp kiss. "I love you." I whisper, lacing my fingers with his. "I love you more."
