Miranda's pov

Me and mom spent the day hanging out and at the moment we were getting mani pedis. "I'm so excited for the awards in a couple months." I say, slightly nervous. "It's so cool you're going to perform." She says, smiling. I nod and hug her. "You're the best mom I've ever known!" I gasp gladly. "I'm so glad you're my daughter." She says, bringing tears to my eyes. I'm such a lucky girl. We were walking to her car. "Um.... I... Can I ask you something?" "Of course sweety you can ask me anything." I lean against her car. "What do I do? I think... I think I love Mo... I just... Don't know what to do about it." She smiles. "Just tell him. Trust me, he'll be really glad to hear that." I smile. "Thanks mom." We share a hug then head back home.

Britt got out of the shower and laid down beside me. "So how was girls day?" "It was great. I love how she calls us mom and dad." I smile. "Me too." "She told me today that she loves Mo. Like for real." My eyes go wide. "Really? She's like in love with the boy? They only went on one date. That isn't really enough to call it-" "It was for me." Whoa. "Wow. Really?" "Yep. I love you, Jason." "I love you too Brittany."

Miranda's pov

I wake up to a good morning text and nearly fall coming down the stairs. Luckily dad caught me in time. "Don't text and walk down the stairs. It's dangerous." I laugh and nod. "Thanks." "Who are you texting anyway?" My cheeks flame up. "Mo." "Ugh boys." He mumbles, ruffling my hair. I laugh. He laughs too and we go to the kitchen. I pour a bowl of cereal when Mo texts me again.

She picks up her phone again with a smile on her face. It's so cute seeing her so happy. I finish reading the newspaper and eating breakfast. "Mike needs me in the studio." I say, standing up and kissing Britt's cheek. "The girls have horseback riding lessons in a few hours." "Hey Mo invited me to a lake party. Can I go?" I glance at her worried. "Lake party?" "Yeah." Brittany rests a hand on my shoulder. "Don't you let that boy take advantage of you." "Of course not. I'm waiting til marriage." Yikes. Guys don't usually like that! It might be hard to keep a boyfriend. I hope not though. "Alright. Just be careful out there. Watch your drink and stuff." "I will. Thanks!" She runs upstairs to get ready. "Man, I already feel like I've known her her whole life." I say, crossing my arms. "I'm worried Britt." "About what?" I sigh. "You know guys are usually turned away from that waiting til marriage thing. I have a feeing she's gonna deal with a lot of heartbreak." "Hey you don't know that! If Mo really loves her, he'll wait." "And if he doesn't and is just in it to get laid, we're gonna have a really upset girl on our hands. I mean she said she loved him yesterday!" Brittany bites her lip, realizing. "Oh Jason, I hope he's in it for the long run." I sigh and hug her. "I don't think it's that baby girl." "Hey mom!!" She yells from upstairs. "What's up?" She calls back. "Could you come here?" She smiles worriedly. "Duty calls." I watch her leave then sit at the bar. I don't wanna see that girl cry again. I'll personally knock the shit outta Mo if he leaves her for that. "I hope I don't have to though." I whisper, heading out the door for the studio.
