Miranda's pov

Me and Mo go out to lunch at Tootsie's. "This is my favorite place." Mo says, smiling. He puts a hand on my leg. Curse this shyness! We order our food and the band plays some slow country. I love this place. The waiter brings our drinks and I slowly unravel my straw. He smiles a teasing smile. "God you're a beautiful girl." "I am?" I gasp surprised. He nods. "I fell for you the first time I set eyes on you at that concert." Tears come to my eyes. "Oh Mo without you, I'd still be rotting in lousy ol Oxford Mississippi!" I gasp, covering my eyes. "What's wrong?" He gasps, pulling his chair beside me. "I-I'm sorry. I'm a little emotional.... Jason and Brittany signed adoption papers to adopt me." His eyes go wide. "Wow!" He gasps shocked. He hugs me. "I guess overcome with emotion?" I nod and lay my head against his chest. "Sorry for being such a crying mess." "Don't be girl. It's okay."

*later*

Jason's pov

Miranda gets back home. "How'd it go?" I ask, patting the couch. Brittany walks out of the kitchen to listen too. "Mo's so charming and sweet. I got a little emotional talking about everything but he didn't make fun of me. I'm so shy. I hate it." "You guys make such a cute couple." Britt says, hugging her. "Well dinner's ready." We go to the dining room. "So what did you guys do?" "We went to lunch at Tootsie's and danced to the music after eating. Then we went for a walk down through downtown. Nashville is so beautiful. I'm so glad to be here." I can't help but smile. She's like a kid in a candy store. "We're glad you're here too, sweetheart." "Oh when are Keely and Kendyl coming over again?" "Next weekend." "When are we gonna tell them... About me?" "They already know. We video chatted Jessica earlier."

*the next day*

My phone rings. It's Jessica. "What's up?" "Are you busy? The girls are begging to come over and visit with their new sister." I laugh softly. "We're good girl, I'll come get 'em." Their new sister. Man I love that! I get off the phone and go downstairs. "Change of plans y'all. Keely and Kendyl wanna come over today so I'm gonna go pick them up."

Miranda's pov

Micheal calls me. "What's up?" I ask, working on a song while smiling at my new mother. The song is about her. "Hey where's Jason? He isn't answering his phone." "Oh he went to pick up Keely and Kendyl." "Well I need you in the studio." "Oh okay, I can catch the bus-" "No. I'll come get you." "Ok."

Jason's pov

I get back home and Britt says Mike came to get Miranda some studio time. "She'll be back in about twenty minutes girls." She says. "And when she does, we're all going out to celebrate!" I exclaim. The girls cheer and I hug Britt. "Love you girl." "Love you too."

*later*

Miranda's pov

We went out to dinner to celebrate everything and after our food gets here, Jason says a blessing. I smile and say amen along with everything else. "I love that you did that. That was one thing I hated about my parents back home. They were..... Well are athiests." "Damn, that sucks. At least you didn't buy into their bullshit." "Nope." I say, confidently smiling. During our meal I went to the bathroom.

Jason's pov

We were walking to my truck. I opened the door for Britt when suddenly someone took my picture. I drop my keys in surprise. They start asking questions. God dammit! I hate the paparazzi! "Leave me alone!" I snap, closing Brittany's door and grabbing my keys. They don't back down. "The fans wanna know!" "Gosh darn it! Go away!" I gasp, angrily. The sunroof opened. "Hey paparazzi, say bye bye thanks to my bee bee!" My new adoptive daughter yelps, shooting at them with a bee bee gun! That quickly makes them back off and I couldn't stop laughing. I high fived her. "Nice one." "Thanks dad!" I love hearing her say that. I get in the truck. "Who's up for a movie night when we get home?" All my girls shout yes! Man I'm one proud dad.
