Jason's pov

"Well um.... I guess I'll sing PeterPan by Kelsea Ballerini." I love that song. "The smile, the charm, the words, the spark, everything ya had it. I guess I had a naïve heart cause boy I let you have it.." Whoa. She sings like an angel! Everyone in the room has stopped to listen. Mike is jaw dropped. "You're just a lost boy with your head up in the clouds. You're just a lost boy, never keep your feet on the ground! And your always gonna fly away! Just because ya know ya can! Never gonna learn there's no such place as Neverland. You're never gonna grow up, never gonna be a man. PeterPan!" Once she sings the whole song, she's breathing heavily from nerves. "Wow! Oh my God! That was amazing!" Mike says, walking over. "You were great." I say, shocked. She smiles. "Thanks." "How old are you?" My producer asks. "20." He glances at me. And I know we're thinking the same thing. "Well, you're going to Nashville and signing with broken bow records!" He gasps, smiling. She stares at him shocked. "You're kidding!" "Nope!" He says. "Wow! Thanks! This is amazing!" She hugs the woman she came here with. "Your sister?" I ask, pointing. She laughs. "Nice one. She's my mom." "Oh pleased to meet ya ma'am." I say, tipping my hat. "Your daughter is gonna be a star." I say, smiling. "Oh thank you so much!" Miranda cries, hugging me. I smile and hug her back. I am so glad to be able to do this for her.

"That girl kicks ass. She is so amazing at singing!" Mike says, smiling. I nod in agreement. "Hey how about next tour, she's your opener, Jason?" Britt says, sitting beside me. "Great idea, baby. Make it happen, Mike." He was typing on his phone. "Done and done!" I love this! Right now she was rocking front row at Rodney's concert. Pretty soon she'll be rocking backstage and onstage. "This is so cool. That girl definitely deserves this." Mike says. I can't stop thinking about what she told me. She woulda killed herself without me. "Well I'm heading to Nashville early. See y'all in a couple hours." Brittany says, kissing my cheek and standing up. "Love ya." I call. "Love you too. "What ya thinkin', Jay?" I sigh. "That girl.... She almost killed herself man... I just can't believe it." He smiles. "She didn't though." I smile. Man am I glad. I hate to think my fans are suffering. The concert lets out. I easily find her and her mom. "I'm gonna follow ya to your place so you can pack your bags and after we'll head to Nashville." I tell her. "Ok. Thanks Jason." I smile. "No problem, sweetheart."

Miranda's pov

*later*

It was close to three pm when we got to my house. I get out of mom's car when Chris, my stepdad walks out confused. "Who's truck is that?" I smile. "You'll see." Jason steps out and he stares at him shocked. I walk inside and pack my clothes. I hear my stepdad and Jason talking in the hallway outside my room. I close my suitcase as Jason walks in my room. I blush remembering my posters of him. He smiles, hands on his hips. "Can I bring these?" I ask, pointing to the posters. He nods. "Ya got a sharpie?" Um... I think. I dig in my drawer and hand him one. He signs them for me. "Thanks!" I gasp. I pack them up too along with my Walking Dead posters. "Glad to see you're a fan of my favorite show." He says. I laugh. "The best show on television." I say, proudly. Just then the bus with my younger siblings pulls up. I smile. "Heads up. They're fans too. It's adorable. The youngest of the bunch always begs me to put your CDs in." He laughs softly then the door opens. CJ, Emma, and Ali my younger siblings walk in. "Whoa! Jason!" CJ who's five cries. "Hey little guy." He says waving. My seven year old sister, Emma says, "Can you sing big green tractor?" I laugh seeing them. "You love big green tractor I reckon?" She nods. "Her favorite song." I say. "Ya got a cute little bunch here." I just realized I'm leaving them. I've got to tell them. I shakily walk over. "Hey guys I gotta tell y'all something." I pick CJ up, holding him on my hip and sitting on my bed. "I'm going to Nashville. Jason's helping me start my career." "You will come back right?" My six year old sister Ali gasps close to tears. "Of course. You guys'll always be my number one fans right?" They nod. "We love you sissy." CJ says kissing my cheek. I smile. I'm gonna miss them. My stepdad calls them out. "You're really close with your younger siblings." Jason observes. I nod. "I basically raised them." I whisper. His eyes go wide. "My mom has chronic pain which leaves her stuck in the bed most days and my stepdad works on 6 days a week." "Wow." He gasps wide eyed. He glances in the corner of the room where my guitar is. "I don't know how to play." I say. He smiles. "Well we'll have to change that when we get to Nashville." I smile and stand up. "I can't thank you enough for what you're doing for me." He wipes a tear from my cheek, resting his hands on my shoulders. "You're not still depressed are you?" I shake my head. "Just overwhelmed with how caring and helpful you are. I never woulda got off the ground without your help." He smiles. "Come on. Let's get on the road."
